The Flood In Our Village

These are the words of a song featured in the Soviet film "Mary Poppins, Goodbye."
I always remember this song when it rains continuously for several days or even a whole week. That's exactly what last week was like. There has not been a single day without rain.

A large river formed on the central street of our village. The water can even carry down large stones from the side of the road. This can create a real problem for motorists because the stones are sometimes very big.

Even in this weather, we can't stay at home; we need to pull our legs together and go for a walk.

Bubbles on puddles from raindrops indicate that it will rain for a long time, it does not want to stop, because a hole has formed in the sky and a stream of water has gushed out of it. We must have done something wrong before God, and he decided to cause a flood. But then, not everywhere, but only in our village.
