The Cat's Passions

And it's Caturday again

Greetings, my friends.

For almost a month, my cats Marik and Tomik were my guests. Do you remember that these are my daughter's cats? They came to me on January 23rd and left for their home in Moscow this morning.
It's been an eventful month. And cats were also responsible for some of the worries.
In the fall, Marik had an operation to remove his front teeth, and he even lost a little weight.
During this week, we all got a little sick, mostly it was expressed in nasal congestion. My grandchildren even had a high fever for several days. On Tuesday morning, my daughter became worried that Marik was breathing heavily and making loud noises at the same time. We decided to take him to the veterinary clinic. We didn't think long, but went with my son-in-law to the city veterinary clinic. But it turned out that since February 1, the clinic has moved to another building.

Of course, I quickly got my bearings, and in 5 minutes we were there. My son-in-law was afraid to go to the doctors alone, so I went with him.

My daughter was afraid that Marika was allergic to the food we feed our cats. She feeds her cats with special food, which now costs almost a dollar and a half for an 85-gram package. Everything is rising in price like mushrooms after the rain, but our incomes are not growing.
The doctors examined Marik and said that he had caught a cold and had a stuffy nose. What to do? They began to wash his nose.
What did it look like? It was fun for us, but it was very unpleasant for the cat, and you could see it in his eyes.

The cat was wrapped in a large towel so that he could not resist with his paws. They put him on his side and sprayed water into his nose from a syringe. This caused the cat to sneeze violently, and snot flew out of his nose in all directions. The girls did this procedure for about 10 minutes. Then they put medicine in the cat's nose and gave him 4 injections.
According to the recommendations, the cat needs to rinse its nose twice a day and administer medicine. The children tried rinsing their noses once, but they didn't do it anymore because the cat's breathing was good. They only dropped the medicine into their nose.
On Friday morning, the son-in-law took the cat back to the clinic. The doctor said that the cat was doing well, but she gave him injections again.

But Tomik made us particularly worried. Last Saturday night, he ran outside. The son-in-law did not notice him in the dark, and the children walked around the yard looking for him until one o'clock in the morning. But I didn't know that until Sunday morning, when I was fast asleep. My mom told me about it this morning; she didn't sleep at all night.
At about 9 a.m., my son-in-law and I started a search operation. We looked at all possible places where Tom could have been sitting, but we still couldn't find it. The problem was that he didn't give his voice in such cases. Where could he hide? There was one place - the gap between the outbuildings' floor and the ground. On the one hand, there was a height of 30-40 centimeters, but on the other hand, it was less than 10 cm. The son-in-law could be there, but not everywhere. After about an hour of searching, the cat was found. It was already a joy - the cat was here, he wasn't torn apart by dogs or dragged away by people.
Now there was still the task of catching him. We managed to do this by 13 o'clock. It was a very difficult task, but we did it.

This morning I was looking for Tomik again, but it was already easier - I had to look at all the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The cat was sitting under the bed. Yes, he always hides before a trip. Marik is more relaxed about this.

The cats will spend the night with my mother-in-law today. She lives in the middle of the way from my house to her daughter's house in Moscow.
Tomorrow morning, the cats will go further home.
I'm going to visit them on May 1st.
