The Beginning Of The Garden Season
Friends, what does spring mean to you? For me, first of all, this is the beginning of gardening. Today was the day the gardening season began for me. On Friday evening, a relatively warm rain began, and it continued falling on Saturday morning. This rain has reduced the amount of snow in the garden.
That's why my wife and I decided to start gardening today.
This morning I made a work plan for the day in the garden. And I can say that I have completed all the planned work.

First of all, my wife and I repaired the small greenhouse and the greenhouse. It didn't take long, but this work was postponed in the fall until a warm spring day.

By the way, green shoots have already appeared in the greenhouse, and the onion has also begun to turn green.

Then my wife started processing strawberries and constantly invited me to take another photo of an unusual phenomenon.

Such a beautiful spider was sitting on one of the strawberry leaves. I was surprised not by the sight of this spider, but by the fact that my wife was not afraid of the sight of it. Maybe because we had never seen such a spider before.

He sat quietly and basked in the Sun. By the way, we measured the soil temperature in the greenhouse and in the open strawberry patch. In the greenhouse, the thermometer showed +12 at a depth of 15 cm, and in the open patch, +4 degrees.

And here's another surprise - a flower. Of course, this is not a real flower;
it still appeared in autumn and remained under the snow until spring. These are the features of the remontant strawberry.

Buds have already swelled on trees with early berries and bushes. A decrease in temperature is expected this week, and this will stop the beginning of flowering. It's even good!

Next Saturday, I need to saw the trees that were felled in winter for firewood. Then they will be useful for cooking kebabs.

Of course, no such work can do without the presence of our beloved kitty Busik. He always tries to help us, but sometimes he gets in the way by jumping on our backs.
Well, it turned out to be a beautiful day. It started with a walk in the city garden, which is not a common thing, but ended with a walk with the dog.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.

Эт точно. 😀
What an incredibly productive #beautifulsunday! There is something so satisfying about checking off every item on a work plan, especially when it involves repairing the greenhouses. It’s the perfect way to officially welcome the gardening season.
You've made me laugh.
It was my first scheduled day of work. My son-in-law taught me that. That's how he always plans his day.
