SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD. FREE THEME
Hey, @nelinoeva.
What's new and interesting do you have? Why don't you show us enough of your amazing birds?
Last weekend, while walking, I heard some unknown bird voice. It wasn't a song or a simple whistle, but something unusual that caught my attention. It took me a while to see the small bird, as the sun was shining in my face. The distance to the bird was 40 meters. I took a few shots with my Nikon D5300, but I realized that I was at a disadvantage because shooting against the Sun was not the best thing to do.

My first thought is, what kind of bird is this? The sun prevented me from examining the bird and I could not recognize it. I suspected this was the first time I'd seen such a bird.
I decided to change the situation in my favor and began to move quietly along the road so that the sunlight would help me see the bird from a better angle.
I also decided that I needed a proper background. And I think I did it.

I decided that a black railway semaphore would be a great background. The bird boldly sat in one place and did not try to fly away. It was a great stroke of luck.

So, what is the name of this bird?
To find the answer to this question, I used the Internet, in particular Yandex.
Brown Shrike. A special feature of this bird is its beak, the tip of which is bent down like an eagle's. And the sight of the bird itself in miniature reminded me of a hawk. The beak indicated that this bird does not eat plant food, it is a real predator. His diet includes insects. Even such large ones as dragonflies and Shrike can even cope with a lizard.
I try to always have my camera in my hand when walking, because such meetings can be unplanned.

With love @apnigrich
Good luck and have fun
