Show Me A Photo Contest Round - Stork On The Nest

This week's theme (ROUND 235)
SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD. BIG BIRDS

Hey, @nelinoeva. How are you?
Did you want to see the big birds? I have such a bird. The stork is on the nest. I would like to show a heron and even 2 egrets, but the quality of the photo is not for publication.
For some reason, it seems to me that the storks have built a very large nest. Maybe they're expecting a big addition? Is there a children's room in the nest where kids can play their games? Of course, I was just trying to make a joke, but the proportions of the nest impressed me.
If you look closely at the picture, you can see three more birds that want to settle down to live in this nest, or take it off next to it. I'm talking about sparrows.

Spring, the second half of May, the stork is preparing to become a parent, so he cleans his feathers. Children should see their parents in all their beauty for the first time. At the moment, the stork looks disheveled, especially in the neck area.

I met this stork in the Kaliningrad region. We were driving from Baltiysk towards Svetlogorsk. Due to the GPS locks, we got a little lost, but the most interesting thing is that we weren't the only ones. At one of the intersections, we decided to park and navigate on the map, a car pulled up to us and the driver asked how to get to Svetlogorsk. We told him that he was going there, and then he followed our car.
When we saw the stork on the nest, we stopped at the side of the road and the 3 cars following us did the same. It was fun.

Apparently, this bird feels completely safe. She is not bothered by people and passing cars. And it's amazing.
For some reason, it seems to me that in my village this bird would not feel so safe. I see how people behave towards animals and birds.

Fantastic photos!
The nest is impressive. I read that storks enlarge their nests each year by adding extra material.
Quxk reminder to add yourlink. 🙂
