Morning View of The Dormition Trifonov Monastery

Do you attend churches? I haven't been in a church for a long time. I sit and remember - when was that? Remembered. Last year, on July 13, my wife and I went to Moscow, and I showed her the city of Rostov in the Yaroslavl region. There we went to the Cathedral and lit memorial candles for our grandmothers.
Last week, while looking at the Yandex map of Kirov's surroundings, I saw a special observation deck with a view of the Dormition Trifonov Monastery. This is the residence of the Head of the Vyatka Diocese, Metropolitan Mark.

Yes, the bushes are in the way of a better view. Literally, only the domes of the cathedral are visible- black domes, not gold. Another church is visible on the right. This is the old part of the city, along the Vyatka River.
The observation deck is located on the old riverbed, on the staritsa.

After the death of the USSR, in Kirov, as in many Russian cities, construction of houses began in the old part of the city. Old dilapidated wooden buildings began to be demolished and some unusual buildings began to appear in their place. This is the "90s" style. That's not how houses are built right now. Complex buildings are currently underway.

Ducks. They all swam towards me at once. They're probably used to being fed here. They are lazy, even though they live in the wild.

I was lucky with the weather. A sunny morning. I left home early for the office on purpose to find this place. Next time, I'll try leaving at 5 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. to walk along the road by this lake and see what else is interesting. It is impossible to drive there; the entrance is blocked by a barrier with a banner indicating the address where you can get the key.
I can also try to come here on a foggy morning. It should be beautiful.

By the way, at the beginning of the week, I drove along the road next to the cathedral and saw banners prohibiting photos and videos at the gate. It's even weird. I have visited the territories of various churches, cathedrals, and monasteries, but I have never seen such prohibitions anywhere. I'm lying, though. When I was on the territory of a convent in my city, the abbess forbade me to take pictures. She thought I wanted to photograph her.
