Market Friday - OffShore (16 pics)

Hello, my friends.

This report was written by me for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle. I often read the posts of this community, but for some reason almost never wrote here. I am always afraid that my post will not coincide with the topic of the community.
Today my wife and our granddaughter went to the theater for a children's play and after the performance we went to a small restaurant that is located next to the theater. He's called Offshore.
We like to sit in this restaurant sometimes. Here we can drink delicious coffee and eat a delicious cake. Of course, there are a lot of different kinds of alcohol, but I need to get behind the wheel of a car, so we don't drink alcohol.

We made an order and I decided to play a little with river sand and shells. By the way, the sign says - Direct communication with the Administrator. Apparently I need to scan the QR code if I don't like something, but I like the staff of this institution, everything is always wonderful and wonderful.
My granddaughter told me - you got your hands dirty, you need to go wash them. That's why she didn't play with shells with me.

Grandpa, why are you photographing the ceiling?
My granddaughter asked me that. She will be 6 years old at the end of December.
While we were preparing our order, we asked her about the performance. What did she like and what did she understand from what was happening on stage? It was her first trip to the theater. There are no theaters in their small town, and she rarely visits us. My son and his family live 1300 km away from us.

Grandpa, why are you taking pictures of this?
It was my granddaughter who asked me again.
We explained it to her to show it to her parents, and also to other people.

Why are these stones on the table? what does it mean? I don't know. I wanted to ask the waiter, but I forgot.

Well, they brought me my dish, a light snack. Interesting unusual goodies are prepared here.

This dish is for my granddaughter. Pancake cake with ice cream. The granddaughter ate ice cream, but did not eat an unfamiliar cake. So it's going to be me. I'm not used to throwing food away. We shared a piece of cake with my wife. I have already taken this in our last visit to this restaurant, but my wife has not tried such a cake yet. It was delicious.
And our meal ended with a cup of cappuccino. They know how to cook it here.

Next to the cafe there is a small shop of old things. Recently, it has become very fashionable to decorate shops, restaurants, counters with similar old things, furniture, decor. Of course, in Moscow I was in a big store of old things, but even in this small store my wife does not allow me to enter. She is afraid that I will buy unnecessary things.
By the way, the Offshore restaurant has been decorated with old furniture.
Old things give extra comfort in such establishments.

I add my beloved @archon community as a 5% beneficiary of the post.

Haha! Typical kid, they are always asking questions and won't stop until they are satisfied with the answer😆.

Same here, I was raised by my parents that always reminded me not to take advantage of foods. So I always ended up eating the left overs of my nieces sometimes😆

In one family, children often left leftovers at lunch. The father of the family suggested having a pig. Mother said - will I still need to finish all the leftovers after the piglet?

It's a kind of anecdote 😂😂😂

OH!!! I want to play in the sand! How cool is that? I have never been to a restaurant like that. Your granddaughter is at that inquisitive age. She is adorable and I am sure you are having a great time. Kids today have no concept of waste. I am always appalled by what people leave behind on their plates. I am pretty sure I would ask for a takeaway box. :) Waste not, want not.

Which play did you watch?

Thank you for supporting #MarketFriday! It has always been interesting to walk through a post and get a view of another part of our world. I have read all of the posts, many twice, and it is always a pleasure. Unfortunately, I had something unexpected this week, taking me out of town, so I didn't get to post my personal comment to you. My apologies and it is not a habit as I know everyone works hard to put together great posts. I had wonderful posts this week! I hope that you take the time to go around and check a few out. It makes a better community when the interaction is genuine! Thank you! It helps me out when I am not the only comment on a post. :)

Thank you so much! It is very appreciated!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Which play did you watch?

My wife went with her granddaughter to the children's play "Cat's House". The cat invited the neighbors (piglet, goat, rooster with chicken) to her housewarming, but she did not invite her relatives - little kittens. During the holiday, the house burned down. None of the neighbors wanted to shelter the shecat and her old assistant Tom the cat. Only the kittens let their aunt cat live in their little old house. This is a fairy tale about goodness.

Last weekend I went to meet my children at my mother-in-law's house. She lives alone and we go to her to help keep the house in proper shape.
