Hooray, it's spring!

20 April. I am walking with my dog along the valley towards the river. Spring is developing very rapidly this year and there were even days with temperatures of +20.
Last Sunday, there was still snow on this place and I could hardly walk to this place with my dog through the forest.
There was little snow in winter this year and I think the water in the river will not rise very high. Last year, the water rise was lower than usual.

The road towards the river has a fork. The nearest way to the river is on the left road, and the far one is on the right. But now it is impossible to pass along the right road, there is water there now. During the walk, I noticed that the dog runs on the water on purpose, it gives her great pleasure. She runs into the water over and over again. She is still young and sees such big water for the first time.









Usually, every spring at the beginning of May, there is water at this place and it goes away by the end of May. But this year's spring is not like all those springs that I have already seen. Even now, I hardly see snow in the forest. He can usually be in the forest even in the middle of May. What is terrible about low spring water? The most important thing is that the fish will not be able to spawn in their usual places. Some people say it's good, but I think it disrupts the bio-balance in nature.






Orthodox Palm Sunday this year in the Russian Orthodox Church will fall on April 28. A strange holiday. In the Catholic Church, the Lord's Entry into Jerusalem this year is a month earlier than in the Orthodox Church.
Usually, willow buds are just beginning to swell for this holiday, but this year they have already bloomed.
Early spring and late Easter are a very interesting combination.

The sun has already sunk below the horizon. I walked along the riverbank with my dog a couple of times. The dog kept trying to jump into the water, but I wouldn't let him. If she had jumped into the river, she would not have been able to get back to shore.
