Happiness and freedom

And it's Caturday again
Greetings, my friends.
Does anyone remember me and that look of mine? I will introduce myself - I am Tomik and I have a brother Marik.
On May 3, the most unusual event in our lives happened to us. We were allowed to walk outside for the first time in 8 years! I do not know what happened in our hostess's head, but on May 2, the front door of the house was closed in front of us, but on May 3 in the morning the door opened and we heard a voice - you can go for a walk outside.
My brother Marik immediately boldly went for a walk in the yard, but I was scared. When @apnigrich carried me out in his arms, I even wanted to go home again.

Hello friends! I'm Marik. I'm living in a country house now. This is true happiness. For 8 years, my brother and I have been sitting in an enclosed space, in a concrete box in a multi-storey building, and now I can walk outdoors and enjoy life.
By the way, why did I climb on the woodpile? It's simple - a woodpecker flies all day on our property and laughs at us, so I tried to catch it. But I can't do it.

Well, the cats told the truth - my daughter Masha and son-in-law suddenly decided that cats can walk on the property, and not stay at home. I came to visit them on May 1, and for 2 days I had to make sure that the door was closed, because Marik wanted to escape from home.
After Marik gained his freedom, he walked almost non-stop until the evening exploring the territory, but Tomik did not want to walk, in the evening we lost him and found him hiding in a utility block under a shelf.
On the second day, Tomik also began to walk more boldly.
It was really funny. The daughter noticed that Marik decided to hunt a woodpecker, which was sitting in a tree above a woodpile. Tomik decided to help his brother.

While I was writing this post, my daughter sent me a video of Tom hunting a blackbird. He sneaks around like he's been doing this all his life and hides behind the little apple tree that I planted last spring. But the thrush noticed this furry big hunter anyway. There were about 6 meters between the hunter and the victim. The thrush did not tempt fate and flew away.
The cats have awakened their hunting instincts. How will they live on the 21st floor now? In early June, the children will go to St. Petersburg and the cats will go home to live.
The daughter said they would sleep there.
