Last night before going to bed, I thought - what if I go for a walk tomorrow morning? I don't have to go to the office, so there is quite time for a morning walk.
So that's what I decided.
This morning I woke up at 6 o'clock, washed, dressed, and went for a walk. On the way, I realized that I had not taken gloves, and there was a slight frost outside. I thought it would be warm in the morning as well as in the evening. When I came home after a walk, I looked at the thermometer, it was -16 degrees, and last night it was -7. At night, the sky cleared of clouds and all the heat flew into Space.
So, I left the house around 6:30. After walking for 15 minutes, I saw that a red stripe had formed in the east. It was somewhere far beyond the horizon that the Sun was preparing to wake up and please us with its appearance.
After another 15 minutes, when I went up the road to the top point of our village, I could already clearly see the morning dawn. And there was a thin crescent moon in the sky.



Do you know, friends, what I was thinking at that time? Of course, you're right. I thought - I left my camera at home again. Before the walk, I didn't have a single thought that I would get to the dawn. I didn't even look out the window this morning. More precisely, when I woke up, it was very dark outside the window and there were no hints that there would be a red sunrise.
Of course, the colors were not very thick. The absence of clouds made the sunrise only a smooth pink stripe, the rays of the sun had nothing to stop at.
Lanterns on the background of a mountain located in the middle of our village is a match factory. The work shift starts at 6 o'clock in the morning.
Once the factory worked around the clock. Later, there was only one working shift left, because the demand for matches was low. Now the factory works in 2 shifts. People need matches again.
But I don't need matches from this factory! They are of a very disgusting quality. I bought matches from Belarus in the store last fall.






It's almost 7:30 now. The horizon has become more orange and the street has become much lighter. Street lighting has already stopped working.
I close the circle and walk towards my house downhill.
Today was Epiphany Eve. Today Orthodox Christians go swimming in the ice hole, tomorrow they will go to church for holy water.
I don't swim in the ice hole and I don't go for holy water either.
