A New Place To Walk

This is a post to go with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay.

Today I took a walk in a completely new place in our city, to be more precise, it was a walk outside the city.
I took my wife to the hospital in the morning and while she was there, I went for a walk.
I started from the town square, from our landmark, an old wooden church without a single nail.

By the way, the lime tree is in bloom, the bees are trying and preparing lime honey. But I always thought that the lime tree blooms in spring. And it seems to me that I saw a lime blossom in May. Or I'm already confused about it.

So, from the square, I walked along the road towards the river. I knew that somewhere out there, sand was being scooped from the river and dump trucks were taking it to the asphalt plant. That's what I wanted to see. It turned out that people live under the mountain. It was a surprise to me.

What's happening? A goose suddenly jumped out from behind a tree and ran at me. It's been a long time since I've seen domestic geese, especially when they try to pinch me.
I showed him 2 fingers, as I was taught in childhood, and the goose immediately turned around and walked with his head held high.
How to scare away a goose? It is necessary to stretch out your hand in his direction, the goose perceives this by the neck of a large opponent and he runs away.

I turned off the main road and walked towards the river. And here is our bell tower. It's a symbol of our city!

Friends, do you see a bridge in the distance?

The chicory flowering season has begun. It is used instead of coffee. But I haven't had a chicory drink in a long time. I forgot about him. So you need to remember and drink it.

I walked about 1 km towards the proposed sand and gravel quarry, but did not see it. So I decided to go back to the city, because my wife should be out of the hospital by now.
I think I'll still do it next time.

When I had already reached the outskirts of the city and I only had to climb the mountain, 2 dump trucks with sand caught up with me. These were not Chinese cars, but high-quality Volvo dump trucks.
I know this construction company. When it was first created, Chinese Foton dump trucks were purchased. One of the trucks broke down after a month of operation, and I helped send photos to the seller to make repairs under warranty.
At the moment, almost all cars on the Russian market are from China. And it's scary. I'm currently driving a Korean Hyundai crossover. What will I buy when it's time to change cars?

Oh, two trucks met at the intersection. They maneuvered very slowly and I managed to reach the intersection before the oncoming car started going downhill.

I returned to the square. The walk is over.

Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.

Well. Have all my friends, observers, and readers, wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!
