Early Morning Discovery - Dew Covered Spider Webs
The other morning as I was taking the sheep out to graze, I knew I needed to head back inside and grab my phone! It's not every day most of the yard is covered in dewy spider webs glistening in the sunlight. I'm so glad I was able to get a few photos of the spider webs before my day picked up speed and I forgot about them!
It didn't matter which way the spider webs were facing, if the sun was shining on them, they were glistening away in the tall grass.
This spider web was huge and covering part of the play area for the kids. They would not have liked it had they run into it. Thankfully they were all inside having breakfast still.
Some of them had fallen in the weight of the dew. They didn't look as perfect as I am sure they were when the spider made them, but they stood out more since their lines were doubled over.
Did you see the friend in the one above? She's sitting right in the middle of a perfectly made, dew covered web!
The closer I got to the spider webs, the more I wanted to find! They were so amazing and beautiful. It was so quiet outside with just me and the sheep. I definitely took advantage of this time in God's creation.
The one above looks like it was made by a zipper spider, a garden orb. It looks like it even caught some dinner in the middle! I just love the contrast between the web and all of the bright green grass!
I think this is my favorite one since it shows our volcano, Baru in the background with the sun coming up! It was such a warm and sunny morning. We don't always get to see and feel the warm sun everyday, so that was a welcome sight and feeling.
The brightness almost made it look foggy in this picture. I had so much fun photographing these spider webs.

Wow! I can tell how peaceful it was from your photos. I’m not a fan of spiders but they are amazing artists. I have always been intrigued by their web making abilities, just don’t ever want to walk into one. 😅

The people in country are used to this because of bushy areas. I'm very fond on this because we do go farm very early
