A Beautiful Sunday in Panama

Today has been a great day! We had two services this morning at our pavilion - one with the English speaking community and the other with our Spanish speaking community. It was also our pastor's birthday, so we celebrated with a shared meal and cake after. We also gave him a gift of some gardening tools which is something he loves to do!

I also love it when something beautiful comes my way on a Sunday! It's a great day to celebrate the Lord and fellowship with other Christians. Today I read this Bible verse in our church because I loved it when I saw it.

I also have recently seen something that I thought was unusual for this area and really cool! There was a man with a donkey in town and he had it loaded down. It made me think of Juan Valdez for some reason! Ha! Does anyone remember the coffee commercials? This guy was not impressed with me taking a photo of him! His owner thought it was pretty funny that I thought it was worthy of a picture!

Lastly, I want to leave a photo of our tower that I took recently! The sky was so beautiful and it was totally peaceful out there right before sunset! You can see some of the projects we've been working on - the planter box, the paving/stamped concrete, the flags I sewed, the sunburst look on the curve, the light fixture, and even some small details like the stones on the wall.
