Hello Everyone.
In general, the beach is a place that is easy to visit anytime and anyone. Even though we spend almost every day at the beach, it doesn't make us get bored quickly. There is something interesting about being on the beach, like looking at the waves and the blue sea so that we can get rid of boredom and stress. The vast nature and blue sky seem to inspire us and forget about problems that have happened and that is a psychic process that we are not aware of within ourselves. This weekend I visited the beach because I was curious about a Japanese fortress on the beach.

This beach is quite beautiful because the water is blue and we call it Pantai Biru Ujong Blang, Pantai Biru Ujong Blang is one of the beaches in Lhokseumawe City (Indonesia) which is not so far from the city center, this beach is not only because the beauty of the blue water, but can also do activities - exciting activities such as walking on the beach, swimming, enjoying snacks and also enjoying the view of the sunrise. I have been to that place just before sunrise and it turned out to be amazing although I had to wait a very long time for the sky to turn orange.

And below are photos I took on the beach.

This beach has sand and small stones but is very safe for the marine ecosystem. I saw several piles of shells stuck in the sand, and also crabs, which were very afraid of me. The crab was not actually alone, but when I wanted to sof hoot, some of the crabs escaped into the sea water. One of those crabs who dared to become a model and I managed to capture the picture and it was a chance for me.

Hunting Waves on the Beach

I was so excited to take pictures when the waves hit the beach, especially the sea water really tempts me. The waves here are not so wild that it is not suitable for surfing, but taking pictures of the waves is of course very exciting and fun. Several times I had to move positions to be able to photograph the waves and I had to be careful not to get the sea water on the camera.

For me, photographing waves on the beach is not only an exciting adventure, but I can improve my ability to capture subjects in motion. I had to try several times to set the shutter speed so that it does not affect the exposure and texture of the image. Luckily the weather was very sunny today so I didn't need to set the ISO higher than 100. Below are some photos of the waves I managed to capture while at the beach.

Around this beach, stones from the mountains have been installed with the aim of preventing abrasion from occurring on this beach and also as a safeguard when big waves occur, with the presence of these large stones the beach will reduce damage caused by the waves.

Delicious Hot Coffee

IMG_3624.jpg

One of my favorite drinks is delicious hot black coffee. This drink is a must-have everywhere I go. I enjoy a cup of hot coffee even though at this time the weather is very hot here and I have never felt the annoying heat during the photo shoot. Actually here not only provides coffee but other types of drinks are also available.

In the afternoon there are visitors, especially children who want to conquer the waves. look at the children really happy when they are in the sea. They brought used tires to float them when they bathed in a very simple and very safe way to prevent drowning in the water. The boy who was on the beach came with his friend and they immediately played in the sea water far from the beach. they are brave boys not afraid of the waves.

Some of the fishermen here still use wooden canoes and it is very clear that they are traditional fishermen. today I didn't see fishermen doing activities or catching fish in the sea and it's just that the wooden canoe was parked on the beach.

Japanese heritage bunker in Indonesia.

Lhokseumawe is not only a small town but also a town that has a history that people may not remember. In 1942, the Japanese army once controlled Indonesia, and this area is evidence that the Japanese made forts or defensive bunkers along the coast. The bunker made by the Japanese army measures approximately 1.5 meters by 1.5 meters and serves as a Japanese naval base and serves as a defense center so that Allied warships do not enter the Straits of Malacca. At that time, Japan officially began its occupation of Indonesia.

This bunker should have become a historical tourist spot, but unfortunately its current condition is almost submerged due to beach abrasion. According to the Bunker Cultural Heritage Act, this site must be protected and cared for because this site is 81 years old. With no care, this historical site will of course disappear due to the marine climate. I really believe this bunker is very important because it is a tangible cultural heritage.

Tangible cultural heritage includes:

  1. Immovable cultural heritage (monuments, archaeological sites, etc.)
  2. Movable cultural heritage (paintings, coins, archaeological objects, etc.)
  3. Underwater cultural heritage (shipwrecks, underwater cities, etc.
  4. Intangible cultural heritage (oral traditions, performing arts, rituals, etc.)

The man had come from far and had balloon dolls in his hands to sell to the children. but sadly no one bought it. The seller brought his wares along the beach.
