What does your Food Stock look like ? (If you have One)
For some time now I have been wanting to make an exhaustive inventory of our stock of dry, preserved and canned food, ready to be eaten. On the other hand, I try to practice every day on my new camera. So it's a good way to link the two projects under the idea of this article, isn't it ?
I've included a reference to the article presenting my equipment at the end of the article, but I can already tell you that it's a Nikon D5500 with a 35mm lens which I'm playing with exclusively at the moment and which seems to suit me well !
As for the social context and the current situation, I can only recommend you to have a stock of food, cleaning products, soaps, and essential commodities; candles, matches, gas stove, etc. Shortages are likely to happen as the Western globalist pseudo-elites do not seem ready to accept their defeat. Personally, I feel that they are going to go for broke and continue their madness. That's why I think it's essential, if not vital, to be a little ahead of the game, with foods that keep for a long time and that I could eat even if nothing happens.
Depending on whether or not we ration ourselves, I think that in the event of an altered situation, we can last 2 to 4 months. That's not bad, so I maintain this stock by eating what is most limited in terms of dates.
One of my favorite techniques is lacto-fermentation. A jar, non-chlorinated water, salt and good vegetables and that's it. No need for energy to sterilize, what more could you want ? You'll find everything you need to know in this article there.
Here, they are mainly preserves, tomatoes in sauce, various vegetables, soy sauce and of course a few bottles of wine to cheer up ^^ !
Another spot of fermented jars with kimchi according to my personal recipe. Quite classic but with vegetables like broccoli that are not in the original recipe.
We also have a lot of dried starches. Different types of lentils, white, brown, red or black rice, beans and peas, quinoa and of course some varieties of pasta.
We also collect a lot of herbs that we dry, rosemary, bay leaves and thyme. There next to a jar of split peas... You can also find a lot of dried seeds and fruits. Sunflower or amaranth seeds, bananas, apples, mangoes and grapes, all dried and well-packaged.
As far as spices are concerned, we have plenty of different types of pepper, turmeric and ginger powder, mustard seeds, ground cinnamon or cinnamon bark and a thousand and one other wonders to season.
I also have a whole collection of Japanese, Spanish or Korean chillies, depending on the use, whether it's just for flavoring or for making kimchi.
Let's finish with herbs for herbal teas, teas and, as above, Roman chamomile and mate which I use more and more !
And you, what do you have in your stock of essential goods ?
I hope that this article will have interested you as much as the pictures will have pleased you ! Forgive me for insisting, but if you haven't done so yet, it would be nice if you had a little advance just in case... If anything should happen, you'll be glad to have a few weeks in advance !
I hope you had a good weekend, I thank you for reading and wish you a great evening !

I understand that you post it to Photography lovers. The photos and the motives are so beautiful. I would like to have a pantry like yours and motivated to put food more in the open space not in drawers.
And I was happy to and enjoyed finding some Japanese food such as 七味 & 醤油 😁
There is little that is more satisfying then jars full of beautiful conserved foods!!🙃
...thanks to let us have a view at yours!
Yeah, really an eternal pleasure :)
You're most welcome ! Thanks you for your visit ✌️
Good for you for getting your pantry stocked with healthy fermented foods. I just finished inventorying my storage and am quite pleased with this year's canning products from my gardens. I too think we should always stay a step ahead of the elite and their games with fiat money. lol
Nice :) A good period protected !
Yeah, plus we're currently winning haha ✌️
Take good care !
I have been adding to my stockpile of food. I agree we need to be able to survive as the future is pretty uncertain at the moment, we need to be able to provide for our families. I have lots of dry foods, and preserved. I need to get back into doing Sauerkraut and kimchi again though. I have lost of seeds and pulses that can be sprouted as well. You have a wonderful collection here @anttn xxxxx
Yes, water and food, energy in a second phase, is really the sinews of war. I'm always into wild plants, but it's a bit complicated to pick in the city too...! But I was reading an article some time ago, according to an estimate, there are more than 40,000 edible plants and, it doesn't surprise me, the world's diet is made up of 90% of 9 plants !
I also need to start sprouting seeds as well ! I've been thinking about it for a while :) Thanks for the reminder ! Thanks you dear, I hope you are well 🤞😘
Your food photographs are amazing and different food storage shows your interest in healthy food thanks for sharing. greetings.😊😊
