The Night Mutation of a Cherry Blossom Tree
If you think I'm obsessed with cherry trees when spring arrives, I'd say you're absolutely right ! A week ago, to the day, I had shared a more... kind and consensual article.
Today, these images are the result of a search for an atmosphere in a more " japanese-erotico-gore" genre or in something close to it !
It's still daylight as you can guess easily. We are in a suburb south of Paris in a rehabilitated factory that you will see in a few moments...
Here, the pictures have become a little more consistent, and in the last one, you can already see the beams of this old nail factory !
This is one of the structures a little more distinctly, but let the night come and go, because that's what I was waiting for...
One of the access gates lit by one of those old orange-yellow spotlights. I'm going back to my cherry tree !
I took a little height and I discover the lights of the surrounding city, in this case, a bridge crossed by cars and below, dozens of railway tracks. In addition to the light of the projector, there are pink neon tubes that produce the red glow (" japanese-erotico-gore " ^^) that I was looking for.
But that's not it yet...!
So I pull out the big guns ^ The onboard flash of my Nikon D5500 and I'm actually quite happy with the result...
The settings are numerous and I fumble a lot, but I prefer to spare you my blurry shots !
So, with this last picture, I have more or less reached the degree of mutation I was looking for for my cherry tree ! You'll tell me what you think of this research :)
Thanks for your attentive eye and eventually, your advices and feelings !
Have a nice weekend,
Beautiful photos 🫶🏻
They are my favorite too! I'm dreaming of going to Japan one day to see the cherry blossom. I guess you can't see in those volumes anywhere else.
Great photos. I like your night photography. All pictures are sharp, so you must have steady hands or a tripod 😉
Thank you for sharing!
I would love that too ! Never been yet, but I dreamed a lot about it :) One time I’ve had a few days in a cherry tree plantation and it was really wonderland !
Yeah, I definitely had one tripod, plus it was rather windy hehe 😉
I wish you a good week ahead 💫🍀
The dance of the cherry blossoms! In the Washington, DC area, it is one of the highlights at this time of year. We are getting so much wind, it has been a hard year to photograph, but, I see that yours came out wonderfully, the light is such a game changer with them.
I like the low light with the bokeh, it speaks a different language than the daylight. Subtle beauty, perhaps, even a little more delicate. The beauty of the right light. It speaks many different languages.
Have a lovely rest of your week.
A quite late hello @dswigle 😊 !
Yeah, here too there was a lot of wind, but strangely - and happily - it worked out pretty well :)
And even better sometimes, when like me you have a lack of vocabulary 😂 !
Thanks you for visiting, I'm on my way for your cherry tree hehe !
