The 26th Anniversary of Bireuen City Celebrated // Exhibition Also Known as the Night Market
Thousands of participants from various agencies, schools, state-owned enterprises (BUMN/BUMD), sub-districts, universities, youth organizations (OKP), and community organizations (CSOs) took part. Bireuen is celebrating its 26th anniversary, and the event is enlivened by various activities, including an exhibition and night market.

Hello friends, I'm back in this beloved community to share some images. I want to share the excitement of the 26th anniversary of Bireuen Regency, from cultural weeks, exhibitions, festivals, Rapai, and cultural parades. However, in this blog, I'll focus on the exhibition, also known as the night market.
So, keep following my blog to see how lively the exhibition and night market are at night in Bireuen City. Check out some of the images I captured from the last few nights I went to these places with my friends.

A night market is a market where trade takes place at night. Various goods and services are bought and sold here. Night markets are usually important tourist attractions in subtropical and tropical countries, due to the milder nighttime temperatures compared to colder climates. Night markets are very common in my country, Indonesia.
My friends...
Night markets are filled with various stalls and stalls selling goods and food, such as various snacks and light meals, local favorites, and more.
So...
On this occasion, I would like to invite you all to follow my blog, because I will share some images of night markets that resemble festivals, carnivals, or fairs. They feature carnival games and children's rides like a mini carousel, a merry-go-round, and even a haunted house.
Usually, these festivals or night markets move from one regency to another every month. This time, the night market is in Bireuen Regency to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Bireuen City.
These are some pictures that I captured when I first arrived there, where the parking area was seen on the side of the road. This was because the main parking lot was already full of visitors, but even so, it did not disrupt traffic flow because the committee had prepared it in such a way and also with the assistance of the local police to maintain traffic flow so that it was safe.

The main venue chosen for Bireuen's 26th anniversary celebration was Cot Gapu Field. Given its vast area and the exhibition's location, here are some images I captured of the field at night. The first photo is of the field's icon and monument.
My friends...
This event location, besides Cot Gapu Field, is also known as Bireuen's green open space.
I personally think thousands of residents attended the 26th anniversary celebrations at night. The organizers even reported that each night the number of residents reached over 20,000.
The information post was constantly calling for missing children and requests to meet due to the dense crowds. So I decided to take photos around midnight. This is how it looked like in the middle of the night, when the crowds were starting to thin out, but it couldn't be said to be deserted either.

There are several types of games available for visitors to enjoy, and what caught my attention the first time I was there was the haunted house area.
Then, my friends and I decided to buy tickets to enter the haunted house. The ticket price was very cheap, at 15,000 rupiah, equivalent to 1 dollar, or around 5 HIVE currently. However, it was a bit of a shame that when my friends and I entered the haunted house, all lights had to be turned off. Likewise, cameras were not allowed to be turned on to take pictures, as doing so would make the attraction look less appealing. Honestly, the impression I encountered when I was inside the house was a little scary. One of my friends even left the attraction within less than a minute, due to its eerie nature.

Apart from that, here you can also find other game rides such as a mini carousel, a merry-go-round, a mini train, as well as Dragon Ball, and others that I can't possibly mention one by one and these are some of the pictures that I captured when I started exploring the night market area after I entered the haunted house.

After I was satisfied exploring the night market area, my sister suggested we stop at one of the spots to rest and have a refreshing drink and some snacks to boost our spirits.
This is a picture of us there.
The atmosphere I encountered was filled with the sounds of music, children's laughter, the aroma of coffee and Acehnese cuisine, all blending to create a lively atmosphere reminiscent of a night market. This event was not just a feast of entertainment, but, in my personal opinion, also a space for the revival of Aceh's creative economy.
Even the committee of the 26th Bireuen City Anniversary stated that MSMEs are a source of hope for the community's economic independence, and that this festival is more than just a ceremony but also a momentum for economic and cultural revival. Through downstreaming, we encourage our products to not only be primary production but also to upgrade, add value, and be ready to compete in the global halal market.
Okay, friends, those are some pictures and a short article about the night market in Aceh, also known as an exhibition, held to celebrate Bireuen City's 26th anniversary at Cot Gapu Field.
I hope you all enjoyed and enjoyed what I shared in this blog. See you in my next blog!
