On this blog, I'm back in this beloved community to participate in a contest hosted by my brother @mshbd, which is now in its fourth round.

So, please continue following my humble blog to see some of my entries for the contest.

My friends...
In this blog, I'll share the main photo featuring the Areca Nut Monument, which is also an icon of Sigli City. At night, this monument looks so aesthetic with its golden yellow lights glowing from within. The top is perforated like a cage, and in the center is a small red light that resembles a heart. You can see the image below for more details.

That's the main image I'm sharing for my participation in this round of the contest.

Regarding the image, you can see the sky: pitch black, starless, moonless, empty. And that's where I personally think it's the perfect time to play with contrast.

This monument stands alone against that dark sky, and you can see the Sigli writing underneath, colored yellow by the reflection of the lights. The asphalt reflects the car lights into a red line, and the red traffic light on the right also becomes a secondary focal point.

For me, darkness makes light brighter. I think you understand what I mean. If the sky had lots of lights or light pollution, the Areca nut monument wouldn't be as dominant as it is. However, the darkness of Sigli at 10:00 p.m. actually became a free studio for me at that time.

I took this picture while traveling to Banda Aceh a few days ago. After capturing the iconic monument, I took a short break and ordered a hot coffee with milk, which cost Rp 8,000, or about 9 HiVE tokens at the current price, at a stall near the iconic monument.

The glass is clear, with a spoon and a cigarette to accompany my thoughts, and of course, my hand is in the frame, intentionally to create a human element.

My friends...
Personally, I think night photography isn't just about city lights, but also about people stopping to enjoy the atmosphere and tranquility that nighttime offers.

Well, my friends, those are some of the images and short posts I've written on this blog as my entry for the 4th round of the night photography contest.

I hope you all enjoy and enjoy what I've shared, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have taken the time to view and read my blog to the end.

Leave your comments, support and input which means a lot to me so that I can make a better blog in the future and that's enough for this meeting, greetings everyone and see you on my next blog.
