Genus Marasmius//Mushrooms I Found in a Palm Oil Plantation
Good evening all my friends, this time I am back again in this beloved community and previously for the past few days I did not make a blog because our area was affected by natural disasters in the form of flash floods, landslides and earthquakes which caused the internet network to be cut off for the past few days.

On this occasion, I want to share some images of mushrooms I found in a palm oil plantation. The first time I saw them, I was intrigued to take some photos to share with this community. One of the most captivating things about these mushrooms is their beautiful colors. These mushrooms are known as purple windmills in my local language.
As I mentioned above, I found these mushrooms in a palm oil plantation, and I also captured some images of them while I was there.
My friends...
For the past few days, my area has been experiencing constant rain, and this has even impacted our area with natural disasters such as landslides and flash floods, which have claimed lives. The central government has even had to intervene to address this situation. Therefore, I haven't blogged for the past few days due to the impact of these natural disasters, which have caused internet outages for over a week.
Below are some images I captured in the palm oil plantation while searching for mushroom images.

One mushroom that caught my attention was the Marasmius haematocephalus
This mushroom grows in leaf litter, and I personally found it growing on the leaves of oil palm trees that were starting to dry and rot.
This mushroom also has a dark purple to blood-red cap with a diameter of 2.5-16 mm. The stem is very thin and a little hard when I hold it. Most of the stem is black, changing color to the same color as the gills towards the top.
I personally rarely encounter this species of mushroom. Perhaps it's because the weather in my area is always rainy, and I travel to plantations that are still a bit pristine, which is why I found this mushroom. So, I can say I found this mushroom at a special time.
Below are some pictures that I captured showing the mushrooms that I found in the oil palm plantation.

And besides the mushroom, I also found another mushroom, and I think this mushroom is also the same species as the mushroom above. What do you all think, friends? Is it true that this mushroom is the same species as the mushroom above or not?

Okay, friends, those are some pictures and short posts from me on this blog. I hope you all enjoyed and were entertained by what I shared.
And thank you very much to all of you for viewing and reading my blog to the end. Please leave your comments, input, and support, which means a lot to me in creating a better blog in the future.
That's all for now.
Greetings, everyone.
