My First Intense Adventure: Extreme Walk and Climbing to the Mountain and River of Malitbog, Bukidnon
Hello to all the lovely people on Wednesday Walk Hivers! It's another wonderful Wednesday walk experience to share with you all. I still can't believe I made the decision to climb and walk to the Three Mountains of Malitbog, Bukidnon.
It was an intense and extreme walk that made me consider myself an adventurer because of the risk of walking beside the hill, where one mistake could result in an accident and a fall into the deep side of the mountain. We walked for an hour to get down to the Malitbog River, but I never imagined that the road was so dangerous that I couldn't give up or I'd be left alone in the middle of the mountain side.
What I did was not look to the other side and instead focused on the other side with plants or grass because I did not want to become nervous or worse, have a panic attack as a result of my anxiety. All I could think about was my excitement when I arrived at the river.
I want to visit nature places, and a friend recommended this location, saying that it was so relaxing in the river. Due to my excitement, I did not inquire about the condition of the road leading to the river. I'm surprised that only two feet can walk on the road, and the other side can easily fall down, causing injury or even death. Nonetheless, I find it exciting to experience such a walk.
Aside from the fact that strenuous walking can be beneficial to one's health, it has been very challenging for me to become an adventurer so that my next mountain climbing walk will be easier to adjust to.
After an hour of walking, we arrived at our destination, the river. I finally saw it and jumped into it to relieve my tiredness. I enjoy swimming in the river so much that I wish I could live here and swim every day, but I cannot risk walking down the dangerous road again.
It was a long day of walking back home and another hour of walking, but I believe it took us two hours to climb the mountain again because we were too tired to climb up and I was having trouble breathing. But it was a great experience, and I will never forget the memories I made while swimming in the river.
Such scenery what an experience
