Childhood Memories can be Treasured When we get Old

To all Asean Hivers, greetings! It's a great day to share our activities here at @asean.hive once more. Being a child was a gift—it meant being content, happy, stress-free, and not having to work. However, not all children are in the same circumstances. I recall having to start working when I was just 7 years old. I am familiar with every household task, ranging from cooking to laundry and cleaning.

My mother married a different man when I was five years old, and I also felt like I had a new sibling from my stepfather. I also experienced discrimination from my mother when she made me work at a young age to help support myself because my parents couldn't support me.

While I do spend some time playing, the majority of my time is spent taking care of household chores and selling food or anything else I can sell to earn money for school. I make sure my kids have a stress-free childhood, unlike me, who experienced too much stress and worries as a child and continue to feel like they are not a part of my family because my mother married another man.

Even though I am a single mother, I make sure that my children won't experience it. I spend time for their happiness to give them something I did not have before. Yesterday, I took my kids to the mall playground to play and enjoy their favorite pizza from SnR. Seeing them happy and enjoying what they have experienced feels like a reward for all of my hard work.

They like to play on the playground with the other kids. My son likes to pretend to be Spider-Man and climb everything. I wait for them to finish playing until they get hungry, at which point we head to SnR Pizza, where our favorite food is the cheesy pizza with garlic chicken.

Every time I have extra money, I like to go out and play and eat with the kids, and it was a blast spending time with them.
