Este fin de semana pasado fue la cena navideña de nuestro grupo de entrenamiento, la que hicimos en un restaurante de la ciudad que nos alquiló un salón privado, por lo que el lugar se prestaba para hacer nuestros juegos divertidos que son costumbre en las reuniones y celebraciones del Team Vida.

Entre juegos, karaoke improvisado, chistes y locuras, no iba a quedar por fuera el intercambio de regalos navideño, y este año se trataba de medias locas o medias alusivas a la navidad. Por compartirles sólo un poco del alboroto, les voy a mostrar algunas de las medias que se intercambiaron, las que me regalaron a mí eran medias de elfo, y yo le regalé a mi amiga secreta unas hermosas medias de perrito con todo y orejas, porque mi amiga secreta era mi amiguita Andreína de Misión Nevado, y ella es proteccionista… no podía escoger algo diferente, jajajaja.

Ella ni corta ni perezosa, se puso sus medias para el resto de la velada, jajajaja, y se veía muy cómica. Y así siguieron los intercambios locos, ¡Ah, una modalidad inesperada! Para descubrir el amigo secreto teníamos que imprimir o buscar en el celular una imagen de un personaje que se pareciera a nuestro amigo, y al mostrarlo, él o ella, tenían que adivinarlo.

De esa manera pasamos una noche genial, más allá de la cena y el brindis, la diversión de poder compartir juntos algo distinto al día a día, y que de alguna manera seguramente nos sacaría carcajadas, y bajaría los niveles de estrés y agotamiento mental.

Last weekend was our training group's Christmas dinner, which we held at a local restaurant that rented us a private room. The venue was perfect for our usual fun games, a staple at Team Vida gatherings and celebrations.

Among the games, impromptu karaoke, jokes, and general silliness, we couldn't leave out the Christmas gift exchange. This year's theme was crazy socks, or Christmas-themed socks. To share just a little bit of the excitement, I'll show you some of the socks that were exchanged. I received elf socks, and I gave my Secret Santa some adorable puppy socks, complete with ears, because my Secret Santa was my friend Andreína from Misión Nevado, and she's an animal lover... I couldn't choose anything else, hahaha.

She, without hesitation, wore her socks for the rest of the evening, hahaha, and she looked hilarious. And so the crazy exchanges continued! Oh, and here's an unexpected twist! To find out who our Secret Santa was, we had to print out or find on our phones a picture of a character who looked like our friend, and when we showed it to them, they had to guess who it was.

That way, we had a fantastic evening. Beyond the dinner and the toasts, the fun of sharing something different from our daily routine was amazing, and it was sure to make us laugh and lower our stress and mental exhaustion levels.
