Garden Practice: August 6 2023

Swing 42 had a practice session in Danielle's garden this afternoon. I can't remember the last time I've been as we'be been concentrating more on folk and pop stuff lately.
However, Barbara managed to secure a gig for us for the beginning of September.

We weren't sure this time if we annoyed the neighbours.. Someone put loud music on somewhere.. What do you think? We played another three generally known songs to finish as it was going home time anyhow..

A few images from our town walk this morning. I went out in a T-shirt and found it slightly nippy in the shade. It was quite a nice day overall but when I took Mia out after practicing we got totally drenched! 🤣

Mia looked at the ducks; I was a little late taking the shot, she was just jumping away..

Two days ago I took pictures of some boats; this is the other side of that stretch.

It was fun to get the band back together! (minus @steevc anyway) Haven't had any other repercussions. Just some momentary annoyance, I expect.

Some lovely pictures of your walks. You're lucky to have such nice scenery close by.
I'm also glad to live in a place where there are many public parks and countryside to explore. Not everyone has this.
