Chores and Chords: May 30 2023
Nothing much happening today other than house chores for a change.. Has to be done though!
We walked through town in the morning and across the footbridge to make it fairly short walk as I had to be back for our Tuesday morning meeting, or so I thought.
I didn't need to worry as our boss had decided to take the day off without telling anybody! Typical.. 🙄
St Neots High Street.. Grand.. 😄
The evening walk went round Priory Park and it was a rather nippy affair to begin with, I had a thicker fleece and trousers on.. wow.
I tried to walk where it was a little sheltered as it was mostly the wind that was a little bitter.
I've been playing a fair bit of keyboard lately and loving it! I'm trying to pretend to be Stevie Wonder, i.e. not looking.. It seems to work. lol
My step count isn't great today, I've been meaning to get on the treadmill but have been getting side tracked somehow this evening.. One of those things.
One more day to go until Poliac, then it'll get serious.. haha

Stevie really is a wonder. Maybe being blind makes him a better listener, but then he needs a good memory too. At least with piano he can feel his way, but drumming is harder without looking.

Drumming will be a little tricky.. have you tried it?
Make sure you move things out the way that are valuable before you do though!
When I am singing and needing to read lyrics on my little kit I can miss the pads sometimes. I need to learn the words.
