Present from hubby Sigma 120-400mm

Hello hello.. I hope you had wonderful time.. I surely did yesterday... I got nice surprise yesterday 🀩😊

My husband bought me new lens πŸ™ˆ.. Super amazing Sigma 120-400mm for wildlife photography..

Ofc the same moment I attached the lens I went outside to take few pictures 😊 and here is result..

I went for a walk near the river Laune and I took some wonderful photos ☺️

Seagulls were playing all around the river

Quick snap of the plain in the air 😍 look at that colour. Finally I don't have blurry images like with old canon 70-300mm ultrasonic lens.

Little ducky in the river 🀩

And my favourite ones 😍😍

Look how he looks at me. 😍

I saw my friend and her kids and from far away I took these two image.. I'm super happy with the results

Her son

Rowing practice in the river

A flower close up..

And again some birds photos..

All of them are fast snaps..

Cuties

At the end I was super happy.. Only downside is that lens with my camera attached is around 2.5 kg.. And after 10 minutes my hands are super tired... BUT I don't care..

Im super happy.. Still.. I'm saving money for sigma 150-600 contemporary lense πŸ˜‚πŸ€‘ I think until then I'll build up some muscles..

Enjoy your evening love you all

Very nice shot. Great to see you enjoying the new lens. I love my 100-400 Sony lens. I found it is also fantastic to add the 1.4x or 2x tele-converter to get even more zoom. You lose 1 stop or 2 stops of aperture, but well worth it for some of those closer wildlife shots without adding noticeable weight. The bigger lenses really wear you out quickly, I usually carry a mono-pod or tripod if going to be shooting for more than a few snaps.

I am still far from being able to afford a tele, but one day, congrats for the gift, loved the robin, it is so cute.
Excellent shots

Lovely pictures nice bokeh too from the lens , i still have my Sigma 150-500mm A-mount they can be heavy indeed . The 150-500mm is 1.9kg compared to your 120-400 that is 1.75kg the difference aint't that big in weight :) A monopod or beanbag can give your arms some rest and give some stability ., any way enjoy the lens πŸ˜‰
