Out in the nature

Good evening everyone.. Hope you are well today.. Im sitting and relaxing. Today I went on long walk few kilometers from my house..

Most beautiful attraction here is Gap of dunloe.. Amazing scenery stretching all the way of MacGuillicuddy Reeks mountains

... I woke up around 8 am today... Usual routine every morning and big question from my husband "Do you have any plans for today, do you want to go somewhere"
Well yesterday we went on the beach and we had a long walk with taking lots of pictures so I wanted to relax today.. So I said no way I'm going anywhere today.. But he mentioned that I said last week that I want to go on gap of dunloe this Sunday.. So he didn't need to say twice, I prepared juice, camera 2 lenses and my phone 📸🤩.

It took 15 minutes by car from my house to there. It's a nice ride.
We reached a destination where everything was full of tourists
He parked his car, so we headed for the wish bridge.

Enjoy in these pictures as I did..

The Gap is approximately 11 km from north to south. You can hire a jaunting car (horse drawn wagon) to travel through the Pass and take a boat back to Killarney from Lord Brandon's cottage at the other end. It makes a good challenging day's exercise by bicycle. You could travel the opposite direction by taking a boat ride from Ross Castle in Killarney with your bike to Lord Brandon's Cottage and cycle back through the Gap to Kate Kearney's cottage.

The Gap of Dunloe is a narrow mountain pass forged between the MacGillycuddy Reeks and Purple Mountain by glacial flows. The river running through the gap is the river Loe from where the Gap gets it's name. The Gap begins at Kate Kearney's Cottage. The road, narrow in many places, winds through the pass and descends into The Black Valley passing five lakes, Coosaun Lough, Black Lake, Cushnavally Lake, Auger Lake and Black Lough. Within easy walking distance from Kate Kearney's cottage is a picturesque old bridge known as the 'Wishing Bridge'. It is said that wishes made here really do come true!

lots of amazing animals were all over the place, relaxing and looking at all of the tourists

I couldn't belive how much French tourists were al around us.. lots of people taking pics. but I was trying not to capture them on my pics..

I found lots of butterflies all around me but they were super fast..

look at this funny little guy, he is showing me his tongue

lots of horses all around the fields...

The only thing I didn't like was the horses harnessed with carriages..every uphill was too difficult for them because there were five people in the carriages.
but hey, who am I to ask myself what I like and what I don't like?

small short video from today

I hope you liked those. I sure did.Good night my friends

It looks and sounds amazing along with stunning photos to show it as always.

I am also anti horse/ donkey driven transport and hope it all finally comes to an end sometime.

Thanks for that @anitahorvatirl.

It was so sad to see how they are tired 😩 but. Sadly we can't do anything about it..

Yip it is sad and one’s hands are very tied so I suppose one just has to keep on hoping that it changes and doing any tiny part possible.

A wonderful set of photographs, it's like walking around that place but looking at pictures!.... All the angles are very eloquent and the captures are very well managed... I loved that first photo with the road going up... It is a wonderful postcard!...
