Cat portraits

Good evening everyone... I hope you all are doing well..

I was wondering how many of us here love all tipes of photography..

How many of you loves to take pics of animals..

Cat portraits are extremely hard to take because cats don't have patience for us..
But how much do we know about them..
Did you know that many cats are actually fascinated by water and some even love to play with it, especially if it is running from a faucet. In reality, cats just generally don't like to be submerged in water.. source
In couple of months (maybe years) I took few great shots of cats (At least that's what I think) .. None of the cats are mine..

I called this one by the name of spike.. He has really pointy nose 🤣 every day he is at my door and he is trying to get inside.. And je is always hungry.. That is crazy how much he can eat 🤣😜..

I called this one Grumpy.. He won't come closer.. He's always sticking out of the bushes watching what's going on in the yard.

It’s not just the internet that’s obsessed with cats. Since time immemorial, civilizations across the world have been devising myths about these curious creatures, ranging from superstitions about their supposed luckiness to stories of them playing fiddles, hanging out in cradles, or sailing the sea with owls in pea-green boats. Cats pop up in many religions as well, as both angelic and devilish figures. Whether the tales are true or not (they’re not), here are some of the more curious beliefs different cultures have held about felines throughout history. source

This one has beautiful eyes, 2 coloured eyes.. Amazing to see.. He is also super shy cat. Always on neighbours fence looking at the birds..

This black and white one I saw just one time and it was enough 😂 so far this one is my favourite 🙈..

And last ones name is Simon.. Last tenants In this house left him behind so we took him.. He is real pain in the ass but we love him☺️

Do you have any cat portraits.. If you do please share them in comments. I would like to see them..

Enjoy the rest of the day love you all!!

Stunning photos of beautiful creatures and thanks for sharing @anitahorvatirl . I love all animals and cats very much as well. I have two rescue "kids" (cats) of my own and they provide incredible entertainment and love daily. I will do a post on them soon.

Yip...he is about seven years younger than his older brother. (Rescued them from seperate abusive homes at different times.) The younger one (Spook) often tries to instigate games together and older brother (Skollie - Afrikaans word meaning "gangster") sometimes obliges otherwise clearly lets him know his disinterest at that time with a knowing glare or unclawed air swipe. Spook then backs off with a visible sad face but doesn't push older brother further for then :)

Thanks and definately not....they provide me with daily entertainment, have formed amazing characters and give unconditional love which is really mind blowing to me after the abuse they were put through in their previous homes.

Wow, all the photos are great. Although I don't like cats very much, I liked your photos. Photo number 3 was taken as a figure 😄
