Venezuelan flowers and their popular uses
Venezuela is rich in quantity and type of flowers, it is a poem to go into a forest and see the many colors that adorn it and although the orchid is the national flower, it is not the most common in gardens.
According to the place, climate or region these are frequent and even in the Andean moor at more than 5 thousand meters of altitude we get some variety.
I set out to perpetuate many of these by means of my camera and here I leave you a small group of them, those that I got in the gardens of the surroundings where I live or in some walk.
The first one I leave you is the Trinitaria, they come in several colors although red is the most common, every time I see one I remember a song by Ali primera that says that where the trinitarias bloom there are always beautiful girls.

.
This is the Cayena, very common in the gardens of my country.

This one is called Cariaquito purple, and according to the popular beliefs of some regions of my country, a bath with previously boiled water containing this flower, serves to receive good luck.

This one is called Diente de León and is very sought after by naturopaths for their natural medicines.

This is the Crisantemo, it is believed that the tea of this flower is useful for circulation.

And finally I show you the Margaritas, erroneously many believe that the island located in the east is named after this flower, but the real thing is that it is due to the abundance of pearls, since the Greek name of these is Margarites....

All photos were taken by my old Sony Cybershot camera.
