Touring the mountains of San Felipe

avatar
Yaracuy is a central western state of Venezuela, its capital is San Felipe, nestled in a valley and surrounded by the mountains of the central mountain range, which makes it ideal for taking pictures of nature.

I was visiting and walking with some friends and we toured part of one of the mountains where the beautiful green vegetation was the queen of the place.

Much has been erroneously commented that its name derives from the black Felipe, famous for being part of Queen Maria Lionza, local and national cult since the mountains of Sorte are also in the state, but really this was put by its Spanish founder Juan de Villegasen 1729 in honor of the Spanish King Felipe V..

Here are 4 pictures taken with my Samsung cell phone model A21.
