📷 MTB Tours In The Awakening Nature

Hello dear friends,

Over the last two months, I've largely taken a vacation from the PC. Instead, I've been out and about in nature more often. Especially when nature wakes up again and the temperatures are still significantly below 30 degrees, it is fun to go hiking or MTB tours in the Spessart and the surrounding area. In the following posts I would like to share a few pictures from my excursions on HIVE.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

Hallo liebe Freunde,

At the beginning of March, the deciduous forests above Altenbuch were still completely barren. Nevertheless, the approaching spring was already in the air. The light on this day in March was simply sensational.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

At the end of March, everything was much more colorful. However, it was still far too cold for me to go for a swim in the quarry pond.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

It's been a long time since I visited the “Kriegerkapelle” chapel in Spessart above Dorfprozelten. It commemorates those from the region who died in the Second World War. Especially in this day and age, when war seems to be an option again for some people, it is impossible to warn enough about the horrors of war.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

The view from Kreuzwertheim to Wertheim is always worth a snapshot. Incidentally, you can also park a motorhome or caravan here for a short time. A good place, I would say.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

The trail between Hasloch and Kreuzwertheim is a real dream in spring. I love the bright green, lush grass. Later on, everything here is full of stinging nettles and ticks. It's not quite so great then ;-)

🚴🚴🚴🚴

I have often mentioned that the water of the Tauber river is always so beautifully green. Here is the proof. The Tauber near Wertheim, shortly before it flows into the Main river at the beginning of April 2025.

🚴🚴🚴🚴

The time had come in mid-April. The first swim in the Mondfeld quarry pond, which was still very short due to the cold, can be booked. Before that, I warmed up in the Schenkenwald forest with a short but challenging MTB tour above Boxtal. To be continued....

🚴🚴🚴🚴

Fortsetzung folgt....

Especially in this day and age, when war seems to be an option again for some people, it is impossible to warn enough about the horrors of war.

Yup.. no matter how much we remind ourselves and others of all of the horrors that happened it’s not enough. Why is the war the only solution? How are we mad at some other country that is also on this planet that we all share..?

Stunning scenery, lovely outing with history and highlights along the way. Flowers arriving heralding in Spring always brings us closer to nature.

Really wonderful and spectacular view! It's great that you can go out and be in nature more often.... I especially love the gorgeous white and pink flowers (cherry blossoms?) with the bright blue sky. Very impressive trip! Thanks so much for sharing.
