📷 Gloomy January

Hello dear friends,

Now we have to get through February somehow and then it can finally get warmer again. I'm already looking forward to it. Last year I went to the Mondfeld quarry pond in spring. In January this year, the lake looked more like a lunar landscape. It also looks kind of interesting.

Hallo liebe Freunde,

jetzt noch den Februar irgendwie durchstehen und dann kann es endlich wieder wärmer werden. Ich freue mich schon darauf. Letztes Jahr war ich schon im Frühling im Baggersee von Mondfeld. Im Januar dieses Jahres glich der See eher einer Mondlandschaft. Das hat natürlich auch was.

I was also out and about in the snowy forest with my children. A walk in the snow has its charm. Besides, the forest gnome family has to be looked after.

Mit meinen Kindern war ich auch im verschneiten Wald unterwegs. Ein Spaziergang im Schnee hat seinen Reiz. Außerdem muß die Waldwichtelfamilie versorgt werden.

Barren, cool, icy. But still beautiful.

Karg, kühl, eisig. Aber doch schön.

January is a rather dark month in Germany. Is it any surprise that January is also the month in which most partnerships fail?

Der Januar ist in Deutschland ein eher dunkler Monat. Kommt es da überraschend, daß der Januar auch der Monat ist, in dem die meisten Partnerschaften scheitern?

But there are also mushrooms in winter.
