📷 Back on HIVE with a forest walk

Hello dear friends,

Some of you may have noticed that things have been a little quiet on my blog over the last few weeks and months. But that doesn't mean I've been lazing around. I haven't been ill either, I just had a few things to take care of outside the World Wide Web. I hope that I will now be able to do more than just vote rudimentarily, but also write a few posts.

es könnte sein, daß der eine oder andere bemerkt hat, daß es in den letzten Wochen und Monaten auf meinem Blog etwas ruhiger zuging. Das bedeutet aber nicht, daß ich nur auf der faulen Haut lag. Ich war auch nicht gesundheitlich indisponiert, sondern hatte einfach noch einige Dinge außerhalb des World Wide Web zu regeln. Ich hoffe, nun wieder nicht nur rudimentär voten zu können, sondern auch ein paar Beiträge schreiben zu können.

With everything that's going on around us, I make sure I don't miss out on my walks or bike rides in the woods. Attentive readers of my blog know that I look for mushrooms all year round. For me, it's not just about harvesting them for the pan, but also about constantly expanding my knowledge of the world of mushrooms. However, I am by no means a mega-expert. That said, I can identify a few more species than the average person. I think I can rightly claim that.

Bei allem, was auf uns so einprasselt, dürfen für mich auch die Waldrunden - sei es zu Fuß oder auf dem Rad - nicht zu kurz kommen. Aufmerksame Leser meines Blogs wissen, daß ich ganzjährig nach Pilzen Ausschau halte. Dabei geht es mir nicht nur darum, sie für die Pfanne zu ernten, sondern auch darum, mein Wissen über die Welt der Pilze stetig zu erweitern. Allerdings bin ich bei weitem kein Mega-Experte. Allerdings kann ich schon ein paar Arten mehr bestimmen als der Durchschnitt. Ich denke, das kann ich mit Fug und Recht so behaupten.

Die Erdsterne finde ich immer wieder mal. Manche Jahre aber gar nicht. Sowohl genießbar als auch giftig sind sie nicht, aber schön für's Auge.

Of course, I also enjoy collecting porcini mushrooms for culinary purposes.

Steinpilze z.B. sammle ich natürlich gerne auch für Speisezwecke.

Fliegenpilze sammle ich nicht. Aber ablichten tue ich sie mit Vorliebe.

Recharging with oxygen in the forest. That's very important to me. The forest also has a meditative effect on me. It helps me relax and escape the stress of everyday life.

Sauerstoff tanken im Wald. Das ist für mich sehr wichtig. Außerdem hat der Wald für mich auch eine meditative Wirklung. Hier komme ich gut runter und kann dem Alltagsstress entfliehen.

It's fair time in Wertheim right now. The rides are popping up like mushrooms again, and quite a few beers are finding their way over the bar. ;-)

Zur Zeit ist Kirmes in Wertheim. Da sprießen auch die Fahrgeschäfte wieder wie die Pilze aus dem Boden, und so manches "Pils" wanderst über die Ladentheke. ;-)
