Friends, laughter and salchipapas: a good weekend
This Saturday we planned a reunion with my boyfriend's friends to make a masterpiece called homemade Salchipapas. We met at my boyfriend's house waiting for everyone to arrive so we could get down to work. Listening to music, talking and laughing we had a great weekend and the best part, eating salchipapas. Here I show you in my blog my experience of the best shared moment.
Here in Venezuela, we know as salchipapas, the french fries and small pieces of sausage with their respective sauces of choice, plus melted cheese. I must say that the process was easy, only that the heat of the city had us suffering but still we were able to fulfill what was promised.
We bought a total of 16 sausages and 1 kilo of potatoes, ideal to be able to make our own sausages and eat them to our liking. I liked it because it yielded enough for 6 of us. You know, we chopped the potatoes thinly and then chopped the sausages into small pieces to fry later.
Now ready, we went to the best part and that is to put all that together in a plate to add enough sauces. We added tomato sauce, mayonnaise, and garlic sauce. That was divine, finger-licking good. The only thing missing was the cheddar cheese but the rest was tasty and a good plan to share with friends.
