¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Me emociona mucho volver a escribir en esta linda comunidad porque lo cierto es que una de las cosas que más me gusta es conocer lugares nuevos, visitar sitios históricos y hablar de mis experiencias conociendo dichos espacios y lo que más me atrajo de ellos. En esta ocasión les quiero contar que visité un buque que ha navegado alrededor de 32 países.

Hello my dear friends of Hive! I am very excited to write again in this beautiful community because the truth is that one of the things I like the most is to know new places, visit historical sites and talk about my experiences getting to know these places and what attracted me the most about them. This time I want to tell you that I visited a ship that has sailed around 32 countries.

La que tuvo la idea de ir fue mi mamá ya que yo pensaba en visitar este buque pero no pensé que tendría la oportunidad de ir puesto que mi trabajo absorbía parte de mi tiempo y el barco estaría en nuestra querida ciudad hasta el tres de agosto (así que si, cuando lean este post la nave ya habrá zarpado a las costas de La Guaira el cual es su próximo destino) pero como yo debía ir a una consulta y mi mamá también, además de que eso es rápido usualmente, mi mamá me pregunta ¿y si visitamos el Buque Escuela? y yo pues obviamente dije que si. Por lo que llegó el día y contra viento y marea nos fuimos.

The one who had the idea to go was my mom since I was thinking about visiting this ship but I did not think I would have the opportunity to go since my work absorbed part of my time and the ship would be in our beloved city until August 3rd (so yes, when you read this post the ship will have sailed to the coast of La Guaira which is its next destination) but as I had to go to a consultation and my mom too, plus that is usually fast, my mom asked me what if we visit the School Ship? and I obviously said yes. So the day came and against all odds we went.

Y bueno, a pesar de que ese día llovió y pensábamos que no podríamos hacer mucho porque de verdad el cielo estaba horrible al igual que los vientos que se sentía puesto que al salir de nuestra casa casi ni podíamos caminar pero como ya estábamos a mitad de camino hasta la parada no era el momento de echarse para atrás y valió la pena porque luego salió el sol regalándonos este lindo arcoiris.

Y bueno, a pesar de que ese día llovió y pensábamos que no podríamos hacer mucho porque de verdad el cielo estaba horrible al igual que los vientos que se sentía puesto que al salir de nuestra casa casi ni podíamos caminar pero como ya estábamos a mitad de camino hasta la parada no era el momento de echarse para atrás y valió la pena porque luego salió el sol regalándonos este lindo arcoiris.

Luego de hacer todas nuestras diligencias finalmente nos dirigimos al sitio donde el barco arribó cuyo lugar es el Puerto de Maracaibo donde también se encuentran otras embarcaciones donde puedes subir para viajar a otras partes del Zulia pero eso tal vez se los cuente en otro post jaja.

After doing all our errands we finally headed to the place where the ship arrived which place is the Port of Maracaibo where there are also other boats where you can get on to travel to other parts of Zulia but that maybe I'll tell you in another post haha.

Ahora, aquí empezó lo bueno. Ya finalmente llegamos al puerto felices pensando que al llegar podríamos subir rápidamente a conocer a el embajador sin fronteras pero al acercarnos al sitio donde se encontraba el barco nos dimos cuenta que no sería tan fácil acceder y es que mi gente, llegamos alrededor de las tres de la tarde al lugar y esa hora aquí en Maracaibo es mortal porque el sol está que quema pero demasiado y para subir al barco debíamos hacer cola porque debido a la cantidad de gente que visitaba la embarcación la cual era muchísima nos tocaba esperar entre media hora a una hora a que baje la afluencia y así dejar entrar la siguiente tanda. Era una espera que solo los más fuertes resistían porque la verdad es que estar parados esperando bajo el inclemente sol de las tres de la tarde no era nada sencillo, además de que mucha gente llegaba sin nada que los cubriera por lo menos para hacer más llevadera la espera.

Now, this is where the good part started. We finally arrived at the port happy thinking that when we arrived we could quickly go up to meet the ambassador without borders but as we approached the place where the boat was located we realized that it would not be so easy to access and my people, we arrived around three in the afternoon and that time here in Maracaibo is deadly because the sun is burning but too much, we arrived around three in the afternoon and that time here in Maracaibo is deadly because the sun is burning but too much and to get on the boat we had to wait in line because due to the number of people visiting the boat which was very many we had to wait between half an hour to an hour for the influx to go down and then let the next batch enter. It was a wait that only the strongest resisted because the truth is that standing waiting under the inclement sun at three in the afternoon was not easy, plus many people arrived without anything to cover them at least to make the wait more bearable.

Como les mencioné antes, nosotras llegamos a las tres de la tarde y aunque sentimos que nos hicieron esperar mucho, la verdad es que estuvimos como unos treinta minutos esperando para entrar (y entramos porque muchos que estábamos delante de nosotros se fueron por el sol) pero finalmente logramos lo cometido y empezó el recorrido hacia el Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar.

As I mentioned before, we arrived at three in the afternoon and although we felt we were made to wait a long time, the truth is that we spent about thirty minutes waiting to get in (and we got in because many who were ahead of us left because of the sun) but finally we made it and started the tour to the Simón Bolivar School Ship.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa el haber recorrido esta majestuosa nave la cual ha visitado más de 32 lugares del mundo dejando en cada visita un recuerdo histórico en los habitantes de esos países haciendo honor al nombre que le han colocado El embajador sin fronteras.

It was a wonderful experience to have toured this majestic ship, which has visited more than 32 places in the world, leaving in each visit a historical memory in the inhabitants of those countries, honoring the name that has been given to it The ambassador without borders.

Y obviamente no podía faltar tomarnos la foto con el capitán del barco (o por lo menos con quien pensábamos era el capitán je aún así fue muy amable) y mi mamá encantadísima y enamorada

And obviously we had to have our picture taken with the captain of the ship (or at least with the one we thought was the captain, but he was still very kind) and my mom was very happy and in love with him.

La verdad que fue una grata experiencia el haber hecho este recorrido, a pesar del sol y la gente que había es una vivencia que definitivamente repetiría de nuevo sin dudar por lo tanto el año siguiente lo volvería a visitar. El siguiente destino de este navío se encuentra en La Guaira así que si me lees de allí o eres de Caracas o cercano a ese estado te recomiendo que aproveches y te tomes un tiempo para visitar al Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar, verás que al subir te sentirás transportado a la época de este navío.

The truth is that it was a great experience to have done this tour, despite the sun and the people that were there, it is an experience that I would definitely repeat again without hesitation so the following year I would visit it again. The next destination of this ship is in La Guaira so if you read me from there or you are from Caracas or close to that state I recommend you to take the opportunity and take some time to visit the Simón Bolívar School Ship, you will see that when you get on you will feel transported to the time of this ship.
