¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! espero que estén teniendo un gran principio de mes. Les cuento que me siento emocionada porque hace unos días nos invitaron a participar en el desfile de carnaval en un municipio aledaño al nuestro y les digo que me encuentro emocionada porque el que nos hayan tomado en cuenta quiere decir que apoyan el talento que aquí, en nuestro municipio se encuentra y nos permite proyectar nuestras cosas positivas a otras ciudades.

Ahora, para explicarles un poco como sucedió todo, nos regresamos a cuando fue el desfile de carnaval en nuestro municipio que de hecho, les conté sobre el en un post aquí. Allí en la categoría de fundaciones y de comunidades organizadas resultaron ganadoras obteniendo el primer y segundo lugar dos comparsas cuyos motivos eran sobre El Rey León y un tributo a Celia Cruz, que como les había hablado en el post sentí que fue una de las mejores presentaciones que allí se realizaron. Bueno y una semana después de haberse llevado a cabo aquellas comparsas, nos llegó la invitación para llevar a esos mismos grupos junto a las bandas show que se encuentran en nuestra ciudad, al Desfile de Carnaval en un municipio vecino.

Hello my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are having a great beginning of the month. I tell you that I feel excited because a few days ago we were invited to participate in the carnival parade in a neighboring municipality to ours and I tell you that I am excited because the fact that they have taken us into account means that they support the talent that is found here in our municipality and allows us to project our positive things to other cities.

Now, to explain a little bit how it all happened, we go back to the carnival parade in our town, which in fact, I told you about in a post here. There, in the category of foundations and organized communities, two comparsas won first and second place, whose motifs were about The Lion King and a tribute to Celia Cruz, which as I had told you in the post I felt was one of the best presentations that took place there. Well and a week after those comparsas took place, we received the invitation to take those same groups along with the show bands that are in our city, to the Carnival Parade in a neighboring municipality.

Así que al llegar el día del evento, sin más preámbulos nos preparamos con todo lo necesario para realizar un trabajo de calidad en aquel desfile.

So when the day of the event arrived, without further ado, we prepared ourselves with everything we needed to do a quality job in that parade.

La hora de encuentro para salir al evento fue a las 3 de la tarde, aunque les diré que a mi me habían dicho que debía estar a la una p.m. así que me había ido corriendo porque se me había hecho un poco tarde y cuando llegué resultó ser que la hora era a las 3 por lo tanto me devolví a mi casa jaja, comí mi almuerzo que por lo apurada no me había dado chance de comer, esperé la hora correcta y me fui de nuevo a donde íbamos a esperar el bus que nos llevaría al desfile.

The meeting time to leave for the event was at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, although I will tell you that I had been told that I had to be at one p.m. so I had left running because I was a little late and when I arrived it turned out that the time was at 3 o'clock so I went back home haha, I ate my lunch that because I was in a hurry I had not had a chance to eat, I waited for the right time and went back to where we were going to wait for the bus that would take us to the parade.

Ya con todos preparados en el bus dimos salida a nuestro destino. Aunque luego de haber avanzado algunos kilometros uno de los 3 buses que estaban con nosotros, donde iban montados las bandas y comparsas se habían quedado varados por lo tanto tuvimos que esperar en una placita a que ellos nos alcanzaras y bueno, no podiamos desperdiciar tomarnos una linda foto en este lugar.

With everyone ready in the bus we left for our destination. Although after having gone a few kilometers one of the 3 buses that were with us, where the bands and comparsas were assembled, had been stranded so we had to wait in a small square for them to catch up with us and well, we could not waste to take a nice picture in this place.

Ahora, ya cuando todos nos encontrábamos nuevamente juntos, el bus ya nos había alcanzado, volvimos al ruedo y nos dirigimos rumbo al desfile.

By the time we were all together again, the bus had caught up with us, we returned to the arena and headed for the parade.

A las 5 de la tarde llegamos a donde se estaría realizando el desfile de Carnaval, nos acomodaron en el orden en el que haríamos nuestra aparición y allí estuvimos esperando mientras esperábamos las comparsas y bandas faltantes. En esa espera nos repartimos el refrigerio que el equipo había llevado para renovar las energías y aquí aproveche en hacer lo que más me gusta y es tomar fotograías.

At 5 o'clock in the afternoon we arrived at the place where the Carnival parade would be held, we were arranged in the order in which we would make our appearance and there we were waiting while waiting for the missing bands and groups. While waiting we shared the refreshments that the team had brought to renew our energies and here I took the opportunity to do what I like the most and that is to take pictures.

Lo que me encanta del carnaval es el poder disfrazarse, como yo me encontraba trabajando tal vez no pude aprovechar eso pero de haber podido si duda me habría colocado un disfraz o por lo menos un sombrero carnavalesco jajaja. Pero ya que yo no pude, disfrute viendo a las personas que asistieron con sus respectivos disfraces,

What I love about carnival is being able to dress up, as I was working maybe I couldn't take advantage of that but if I could I would have definitely put on a costume or at least a carnival hat hahaha. But since I couldn't, I enjoyed watching the people who attended with their respective costumes.

Aquí tuve que aprovechar en tomarme una foto con este dino con temática de Venom que me encantó jajajaja.

Here I had to take a picture with this Venom-themed dino that I loved hahahaha.

Uno de mis favoritos también, fue un niño que se disfrazó de campesino y fue con su mascota, un chivito que tuvo que ser sostenido por su papá pero me encantó la idea del disfraz jajaja.

One of my favorites too, was a little boy who dressed up as a farmer and went with his pet, a little goat that had to be held by his dad but I loved the costume idea hahaha.

Creo que esa fue una de las cosas que disfruté mucho del desfile, he estado proponiéndome salir de mi zona de confort y tratar de aprovechar mi trabajo para explotar más mi lado fotográfico y aunque poco a poco voy dando lo mejor de mi, me esta gustando el resultado de ese proceso.

I think that was one of the things I really enjoyed about the fashion show, I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone and try to take advantage of my work to exploit more my photographic side and although little by little I'm giving my best, I'm liking the result of that process.

Ya tocó la hora de empezar el desfile y finalmente nos preparamos para dar inicio a la caminata para llegar al punto donde se estaría llevando a cabo la presentación. Lo cierto es que el recorrido fue algo corto, creo que duramos más en el camino de ida y esperando el momento de la salida que lo que duró el recorrido realmente.

It was time to start the parade and we finally got ready to start the walk to get to the point where the presentation would take place. The truth is that the walk was a bit short, I think we lasted longer on the way there and waiting for the moment of departure than the actual walk.

Fue un desfile lleno de color, diversión y mucha azúcar (haciendo referencia a Celia Cruz jajaja) con esto dimos oficialmente un cierre con broche de oro a todas las actividades que tuvieron que ver con el Carnaval. Me disfruté este evento como nunca, debido a que anteriormente no había tenido la oportunidad de ir a desfiles fuera de mi municipio y además disfrutar del show completo porque sabemos que en este tipo de eventos difícilmente se puede ver la presentación final a causa de todas las personas que se aglomeran para ver jaja. Lo importante es que se gozó y nuestro municipio brilló con sus comparsas eso tambien me llenó de mucha felicidad, este carnaval quedará en mi como lindos recuerdos💜

It was a parade full of color, fun and lots of sugar (referring to Celia Cruz hahaha) with this we officially closed with a flourish all the activities that had to do with the Carnival. I enjoyed this event like never before, because previously I had not had the opportunity to go to parades outside my town and also enjoy the whole show because we know that in this type of events you can hardly see the final presentation because of all the people who crowd to see haha. The important thing is that it was enjoyed and our municipality shone with their comparsas that also filled me with much happiness, this carnival will remain in my as nice memories💜.
