Saludos, estimados amigos. Hoy quiero compartirles una pequeña jornada de limpieza y organización que realicé en la bodega de la empresa donde trabajo. En esta área guardamos todo lo relacionado con implementos de seguridad, como cascos, guantes, arneses, entre otros, así como herramientas comunes (martillos, llaves, alicates, etc.). También hay algunos materiales de andamio, ya que la actividad principal aquí es el alquiler de material de andamio para construcciones o cualquier tipo de trabajo en altura.

Comúnmente, es un poco complicado mantener esta área organizada todos los días, ya que constantemente hay ingreso y salida de materiales. Por lo general, con tantas tareas encima, tomamos algo y, por ir a terminar otra actividad, lo dejamos donde sea, hasta que haya tiempo de acomodarlo. Así que, aprovechando un momento libre en el que no había mucho movimiento, me dediqué con calma a reorganizar las repisas de madera, donde colocamos las cosas, y así liberar espacio para guardar otras herramientas.

Greetings, dear friends. Today I want to share with you a small cleaning and organization day I did in the warehouse of the company where I work. In this area we keep everything related to safety implements, such as helmets, gloves, harnesses, among others, as well as common tools (hammers, wrenches, pliers, etc.). There are also some scaffolding materials, since the main activity here is the rental of scaffolding material for construction or any type of work at height.

Usually, it is a bit complicated to keep this area organized every day, since there are constantly incoming and outgoing materials. Usually, with so many tasks on top of us, we take something and, in order to finish another activity, we leave it anywhere, until there is time to put it back. So, taking advantage of a free moment when there was not much movement, I calmly reorganized the wooden shelves, where we put things, and thus free up space to store other tools.

Y ahora les muestro cómo quedó, y la cantidad de espacio que logré recuperar. Me parece que ahora todo está mucho más organizado, y aunque parezca un detalle pequeño, muchas veces por no tener orden estamos buscando una llave urgente y damos mil vueltas sin encontrarla. Por eso, cuando organizo, trato de crear un patrón mental de dónde dejo cada cosa, porque como les comenté, se hacen muchas cosas al mismo tiempo y a veces ni me acuerdo dónde dejé una herramienta.

It seems to me that now everything is much more organized, and although it may seem a small detail, many times because we don't have order, we are looking for an urgent key and we go around a thousand times without finding it. That's why, when I organize, I try to create a mental pattern of where I leave each thing, because as I mentioned, I do many things at the same time and sometimes I don't even remember where I left a tool.

El orden es vital dentro de una bodega, donde se guarda desde la tuerca más pequeña hasta el componente más grande. Además, cuando estamos en un ambiente organizado, disminuye el estrés al momento de buscar algo que necesitamos con rapidez. Me ha pasado que, por andar apurado, no dejo las cosas en su sitio y después me vuelvo loco buscándolas... ¡y resulta que hasta las he llevado en el bolsillo del pantalón o de la braga de trabajo! Parece chiste, pero me pasa seguido.

Order is vital in a warehouse, where everything from the smallest nut to the largest component is stored. In addition, when we are in an organized environment, stress decreases when looking for something we need quickly. It has happened to me that, because I am in a hurry, I don't leave things in their place and then I go crazy looking for them.... and it turns out that I have even carried them in the pocket of my pants or work pants! It sounds like a joke, but it happens to me often.

También aproveche para tirar a la basura algunas herramientas que ya no servían, ya cumplieron como su ciclo como todo en esta vida.

I also took the opportunity to throw away some tools that were no longer useful, they have already fulfilled their cycle as everything in this life.
