Ha llegado el último cumpleaños del mes de abril en mi familia, esta vez tocó celebrar el cumpleaños de mi sobrino y casi hijo Elider Rafael, quién cumplió 20 años.

Tengo un poco más de 15 años con mi pareja y juntos hemos criado a mi sobrino como nuestro propio hijo, así que celebrar su vida y su día es sumamente importante para nosotros, es un momento de amor, de planificación y de disfrute.

Siempre dentro de nuestras posibilidades tratamos de cumplir los deseos del cumpleañero y pidió 3 cosas una botella de whisky así que le regalamos una llamada Grant's, pidio una parrilla así que hicimos dos pollos a la parrilla, ensalada, yuca y guasacaca.

Su tercer deseo fue acompañar la torta con un quesillo... Resulta que nunca había preparado un quesillo pero para ser mi primera vez me quedo muy bueno, si tuve un pequeño problema al voltearlo pero les garantizo que voy a practicarlo, aunque lo importante realmente es que pudimos consentir y complacer a nuestro niño.

Se que ya es un hombre, pues cumplió 20 años, pero para mí sigue estando pequeño, además que él es una persona muy especial, muy dulce, muy dependiente y un ser humano increíble, que merece solo lo mejor de este mundo.

Así pues que después de una tarde de parrilla, bebida, música, compartir en familia... Llegó el momento de la sesión fotográfica, como siempre en mi familia antes de cantar cumpleaños nos tomamos muchas fotos.

Al momento de cantar el cumpleaños feliz nos reunimos cerca de la mesa, con las luces apagadas juntos entonamos la tradicional canción.

Entre risas, aplausos y emoción el cumpleañero apagó la vela, después de esto repartimos la torta y el quesillo que aunque estaba caliente se podía apreciar su dulce sabor.

Fue un cumpleaños divertido, en familia y muy feliz... Así pues que estoy agradecida con Dios por permitirnos ser parte de la felicidad del cumpleañero y por poder cumplir sus deseos en este dia tan especial.

The last birthday of the month of April has arrived in my family, this time it was time to celebrate the birthday of my nephew and almost son Elider Rafael, who turned 20.

I've been with my partner for a little over 15 years, and together we've raised my nephew as our own son, so celebrating his life and his day is incredibly important to us. It's a time of love, planning, and enjoyment.

We always try to fulfill the birthday boy's wishes within our means, and he asked for three things: a bottle of whiskey, so we gave him one called Grant's. He asked for a grill, so we made two grilled chickens, salad, yuca, and guacamole.

His third wish was to accompany the cake with a quesillo... It turns out I had never made a quesillo before, but for my first time, it turned out very good. I did have a little problem turning it over, but I guarantee I'll practice, although the really important thing is that we were able to pamper and please our child.

I know he's a grown man now, having turned 20, but he's still too young for me. He's also a very special person, very sweet, very caring, and an incredible human being who deserves only the best in this world.

So, after an afternoon of grilling, drinks, music, and spending time with family... it was time for the photo shoot. As always in my family, we took lots of photos before singing happy birthday.

When it was time to sing Happy Birthday, we gathered around the table, with the lights off, and together we sang the traditional song.

Amid laughter, applause, and excitement, the birthday boy blew out the candle. Afterward, we distributed the cake and the cheesecake, which, although warm, still had a sweet taste.

It was a fun, family-friendly, and very happy birthday... So, I'm grateful to God for allowing us to be part of the birthday boy's happiness and for being able to fulfill his wishes on this special day.
