I don't even know where to begin to adequately describe my love for this incredible city!
Amsterdam "touches" tourists with its authentic architecture. And it is not surprising, because it is the capital of one of the greatest countries of both the past and the present. Hundreds of ships enter and leave the ports of the Netherlands every day, and millions of new faces appear on the outskirts of cities. And everyone perceives these cities in their own way. But it cannot be denied that the beauty of the Netherlands simply cannot leave anyone indifferent.

Я навіть не знаю з чого почати, щоб в достатній мірі описати свою любов до цього неймовірного міста!
Амстердам "зачіпає" туристів своєю автенчичною архітектурою. І не дивно, адже це столиця однієї з найвеличніших країн як минулого, так і сучасності. Щодня в порти Нідерландів заходять та виходять сотні кораблів, а на околицях міст з'являються мільйони нових облич. І кожен сприймає ці міста по-своєму. Та неможливо заперечити, що краса Нідерландів просто не може залишити байдужим.

I will probably start with the most touristic location - dancing houses. The first impression when you look at them is that they look like fairy-tale gingerbread houses that you can eat. This impression is primarily due to the color of the brick: it is made in warm brown and dark brown tones, as well as the shape: the rounded roof resembles the top of the protein cream on a cake. Well, it looks very cute😻

Почну я, мабуть, із найтуристичнішої локації - танцюючих будиночків. Перше враження, коли дивишся на них - так це те, що вони схожі на казкові імбирні будиночки, які можна з'їсти. Таке враження складається в першу чергу через колір цегли: виконана в теплих коричневих і темно-коричневих тонах, а також форми: заокругнений дах нагадує вершечок білкового крему на тістечку. Ну дуже симпатично виглядає😻

Also, the naked eye can see that these houses are very asymmetrical. In general, this is a common thing in the Netherlands: a large number of houses due to their "respectable" age "sag" and lean a little. But this, as I understood, is not scary. And vice versa, such an "imperfect" appearance adds a special charm to the urban landscape.

Також неозброєним оком видно, що ці будинки дуже асиметричні. Взагалі, це звичайна справа в Нідерландах: велика кількість будинків через свій "поважний" вік "просіли" і трохи похилилися. Але це, як я зрозуміла, це нестрашно. Та і навпаки, такий "неідеальний" вигляд додає особливого шарму міському ландшафту.

Well, how can you imagine the capital of the Netherlands without a mandatory element - canals. Here they are at every step: so similar, but at the same time so different.. I liked so much to stand on a small bridge and look from it at the rounded "water" roads and these pretty brown houses leaning over them.

Ну і як же уявити столицю Нідерландів без обов'язкового елементу - каналів. Тут вони на кожному кроці: такі схожі, але в той же момент такі різні.. Мені так подобалося ставати на невеличкий місточок і дивитися з нього на заокруглі "водні" дороги та ці гарнезні коричневі будинки, що схилилися понад ними.

Here you can see boats "parked" near the shore. By the way, this is also quite popular alternative transport in the Netherlands.

Ось тут можна побачити "припарковані" до берега човники. До речі, це також доволі популярний альтернативний транспорт у Нідерландах.

Of course, I couldn't help but take a photo against the background of the canal.

I don't know if you have noticed, but the city, despite the fact that there is not much land, is very "green". But such a small area of ​​land is planted with a large number of trees. This is extremely cool! Greenery not only ennobles the general landscape of the city, but also has a positive effect on the environment.

Я не знаю, чи звернули ви увагу, але місто, не зважаючи на те, що суші доволі мало, є дуже "зеленим". Та таку маленьку території землі дерев насаджено велику кількість. Це надзвичайно круто! Зелень не тільки облагороджує загальний ландшафт міста, а й позитивно впливає на екологію.

And this is the street that leads to Dame Square and the Madame Tussauds museum.
I also really like the fact that in order to preserve the historical buildings and the most authentic appearance of the streets, it is forbidden to make huge multi-colored signs of shops or cafes with restaurants. This is a general European trend, but in the Netherlands, as it seemed to me, they treat it particularly carefully.

А це вуличка, яке веде до площі Дам та музею Мадам Тюссо.
Також мені дуже подобається, що за для збереження історичних будівель та і самого автентичного вигляду вулиць, заборонено робити величезні різнокольорові вивіски чи то магазинів, чи то кафе з ресторанами. Це загальноєвропейська тенденція, але в Нідерландах, як мені здалося, до цього сталяться по-особливому ретельно.

But here is another view.. This is the same street as in the previous photo. But smartshop stands out from the others. For some reason, I am convinced that it is a matter of marketing, because this is a feature of the country - the legalization of those things that are prohibited in other European countries. It is not difficult to guess what they sell there... By the way, it is also written on the window. I went to one of these stores just out of interest. Quite an interesting city😏

Але ось інший погляд.. Це та ж сама вулиця, що і на попередньому фото. Але смартшоп виділяється на фоні інших. Чомусь я переконана, що справа тут у маркетингу, адже це фішка країни - легалізація тих речей, які в інших європейських країнах заборонені. Не важко здогадатися, що саме там продають...На вітрині, до речі, теж написано. Я заходила в один із таких магазинів просто заради інтересу. Доволі цікаве місто😏
