My City is Drowning! Alexandria, Egypt

It's expected that Alexandria is going to drown someday, I've been hearing this since I was a child, the government can only delay that, by adding these blocks of rock, that can only buy you some time.

I'm blessed to have lived that close to the beach, just a couple of minutes of walking and you're there!

Today, while I was walking by the beach, I saw that at a specific point the water got into somewhere that was usually dry. I felt then that it might be much closer than I thought it is.

Nobody knows how long it would take till that happens, but it's sad to think someday, the city I was born and raised at, might not be there!
