Enjoying the Beautiful City of Alexandria

One thing I have learned over the years is how easy it is for us, as human beings, to take things for granted. We become so familiar with the people, places, and sights around us that we stop noticing them. What was once beautiful slowly becomes ordinary simply because we see it every day.

But I have come to believe that beauty is everywhere. The difference is not in what we are looking at, but in how we choose to look at it. It takes a curious soul, a soul that is willing to search, to find beauty in the world around it. Once you develop that habit, you start seeing things differently. Suddenly, beauty appears in places that others walk past without a second glance.

Many of the places and scenes I photograph are probably passed by thousands, maybe even millions, of people. They go about their day without noticing anything special about them. Yet when I stop and look, I find something worth admiring every single time. A certain light, a reflection, a color, or simply a feeling that catches my attention.

What fascinates me most is that this even applies to the view outside my room window. It is a view I have seen countless times. By all logic, I should be used to it by now. Yet somehow, I never am. Every time I look at it, I find myself appreciating it all over again. It still gives me the same sense of peace and admiration that it did the first time.

So if there is one message I would like to leave today, it is this: do not take things for granted. The world is full of beauty, often hiding in the most familiar places. Slow down, pay attention, and allow yourself to see what has been there all along. You may be surprised by how much beauty has been waiting for you to notice it.

If you want to find beauty, you will find a lot of beauty around you. You are right. Take a moment to look left and right and you will see so many beautiful things that you have never seen before, even though you have walked through that place at least a thousand times. You took beautiful pictures.
Thank you! You're absolutely right. It's amazing how much beauty we miss in places we see every day.
