That moment when you went looking for reflections and found a blanket of plants instead made me smile. It says the lake is busy being a wetland today, not a mirror. Do locals gather those vegetables, or does the surface open up later in the year? Either way, your ride along the shore sounds peaceful and full of small surprises.

Anytime! I’m still wondering if folks around that lake pick those floating veggies or just let them cover the water. Do they use them for food or animal feed, and what’s the local name?
