Hello Everyone! I am truly glad to participate in this contest for the reason the moment I saw the topic being covered, I perhaps felt that I had something to share that is absolutely relevant for this topic..."weathered"

So despite the fact, I am going to share the images, it will possibly display two, rather than one weathered element!!!

Though absolutely common, rather a more so ignored item at home, this serves every household who have been doing laundry and washing clothes the conventional way, since decades and even now, in most parts of the world trying to dry them under the Bright light of Sun.

Scientifically for a reason to dry them under the Sun. I know that everyone knows that!!!

Clothespins aka Clothes pegs aka Laundry clips

Since ages and time immemorial these are in use and continue to do so their duty with full responsibility, no matter how Weathered they are...they are still in use and contribute towards their duty very dutifully, to keep clothes tied properly to the rope for drying clothes under the sun.

To me this seems to be a very interesting invention that can last ages.

When they were brand new they looked different, well crafted and in great shape over a period of time, their duty and the hardships they faced to keep clothes tied to the rope under the sun, greatly impacted their shape and colour yet they very much solve their purpose very efficiently and effectively!!!

If you would have noticed by now the surface underneath the Laundry clips is also Weathered...faced harsh weather conditions... sunlight, rain, hot and cold weather and therefore Weathered with uneven surface and paint eroded at places.

So, it's just by chance that I covered Two Weathered elements in one picture.

With the passage of time almost several things get Weathered, so can be repaired...such as the surface underneath but the pegs would still remain Weathered till they last.

Some of them couldn't withstand the test of time and chose to take their last breath while the other half withstood the testament of time...but alas!!! Such is the reality of life.

Not all can withstand the testament of time and prefer to wither than stay put and remain Weathered!!!

I mean... it is such a simple object, yet remains not recognised for its sheer duty, therefore I deeply felt that "Weathered" would be a right platform to showcase their talent and still remain put for long long time.

Each and every clothes peg has done its duty rightfully and still remains determined to do so!!!

Therefore, they deserve a story to be told about them and this seems to be one just so right time to do so!!!
