Monomad Challenge - Snow and Rainbow.

A fraternal greeting to all the virtual friends who make life in this community #BlackAndWhite. Today, January 12th, with the cold between the boots, as the winter is not as white as the snow paints it, sometimes it is as dark, grey as a monochrome photograph…

This is my humble participation in the Monomad Challenge call, and I want to show you the last snowfall here in Ontario-Canada, where it exceeded 11 inches (ca. 28 centimetres) of snow, being just the beginning of the season.

My relatives in Venezuela always ask me, how can I survive this inclement environment, the answer is very simple, “passion”, when you learn to live with nature, you learn to extract from it the most beautiful of each season.

Fourteen years living in Canada has been an enriching experience. Despite the low temperatures, the people are very warm.

At the beginning, back in 2010, I myself wondered how the children had fun, recreation is superfluous in these spaces. The education, employment and service system is perfectly synchronised to function in summer as well as in winter.

The following image is in colour so that you can appreciate the majesty of the rainbow against the white of the fallen snow and the depth of the blue sky.
