Every Season Is Beautiful But I Prefer.......

Every season is beautiful and every season has its purpose which is why it was created in the first place.

And so, everyone has got their preference as well and reasons they prefer some seasons over others.

2️⃣If you could choose a season that you would want to remain forever, between the rainy and dry seasons, which would it be and why?

Well, if I had to choose a season that would want to remain in forever I wouldn't think about the question for too long simply because I was born in the rainy season, So you already know my choice.

Rainy seasons it will be!

Why that?

I have very sensitive skin which is allergic to heat and hot areas, I notice how I struggle to sleep well during dry/hot seasons simply because the heat is too much, I develop rashes on my neck, cubital fossa, face and back which itches me so badly and leave me uncomfortable and a dent on my skin because my country's power supply is nothing to write home about, this is one reason I would opt for the rain to fall steadily.

The rainy season is such a beautiful season, it has the best atmosphere for one to fall asleep and sleep without worries as the room will be calm.

It also makes my skin glow, I look prettier during rainy seasons as I don't have to battle with heat all the time, rainy seasons are the best time to wear light make-up as it looks beautiful and lasts longer too, and outfits during rainy seasons are always cute which are the favourite part, I love to rock hoodies and Sweatshirt a lot, maybe because they have so many beautiful designs than the regular tank tops and armless dresses.

How about the peace that comes with petrichor?

Oh no, that's the world's beautiful smell, well for me, don't know about you. It sends some kind of peace and avenue for meditation for me.

Let me talk about my surroundings and why I love the rain.

I have observed that fruits and veggies blossom during the rainy seasons which makes it affordable to purchase as they are always an abundance of them all.

The rainy season is a complement to a farmer's hard work, and for me, because I have a small space in my backyard where I grow plantain, pepper, pumpkin, bitter leaf, scent leaf and pawpaw, I look forward to the rain so that I can enjoy them.

Although the road which is not tarred gets flooded which makes it hard to board a bus during rainy seasons, However, I still love the rainy season because I do not have to battle with the dust that comes with the dry season which is not healthy at all.

The land is green is only applicable to rainy seasons as the flowers and trees blossom as well because the ground because fertile for them to thrive this adds beauty to the land.

The trees act as an air purifier and provide shelter for wildlife and domestic during the hot/dry seasons. Without the rain, they wither and lose their purpose.

So I guess these are why I prefer the rainy season to the dry season because of my skin, my health, the beauty of nature and the abundance of food.
