A Trip To Ogun State.

It's a beautiful Wednesday!!

Last week, I got an invite to a friend's housewarming which will be held tomorrow (7th of Dec) so I left Lagos today to meet up since her place was ar the outskirts of Lagos State, it's at Ogun State to be precise.

I took the back route to this area which is the Atan, Lusada road leading to Ogun state.

I never knew that some places still have red sand and are still developing as I've been living in a bustling city all along.

I went with a mutual friend to enjoy the trip.

The dust in that area was so much as a result of the red sand since most of the roads aren't tarred.

We stopped at a gas station to refill our car tank and then I saw something odd, yes it is odd because such kind of thing is rare to find in my state, take a look at this tricycle, isn't this overloading?

In the city where I live, this driver must have been stopped by the police because such an act could lead to an accident.

And at the other side of the road, I saw herds of cows with a herdsman walking peacefully maybe to find a place where the cows could graze on.

Not too far from the gas station, I saw a supermarket which was one of the finest buildings I saw around that area.

We stopped to get some things but I was in the car and too lazy to get out, so I used the opportunity to feed my eyes on things around looking for things to take shots of.

Since I couldn't find anything fascinating, I decided to take shots of a commercial motorcycle passing by.

My friend arrived immediately, so we began our journey again until we saw this roasted plantain which I have long craved for, also known as Bole, which is usually eaten with groundnut as seen in the picture.

We had to wait for a moment for it to be properly roasted.

After waiting for about five minutes it was ready and then we purchased it with ground nuts.

We also saw some fruit sellers with a variety of fruits like Apple, pineapple, cucumber and garden eggs.

She bought apples while I bought garden eggs for both me and the friend I was going to visit.

It was indeed a fun ride and then we headed straight to the estate where my friend was going to have her housewarming.

The estate is so peaceful and beautiful, I was stunned by the beautiful trees and how neat it was that I took a shot of it.

I am excited for my friend on her achievement, I want to be merry tomorrow because it is very important to celebrate one Little win.

We arrived pretty early like about 3:30 pm which afforded us enough time to enjoy a walk around the hood before checking in to our hotels and looking forward to what tomorrow holds for us, which is the housewarming, merrying and having fun.
