MY VISIT TO THE OSHODI ART GALLERY
Good evening wonderful people of hive, so over the weekend, I had amazing time as I visited an art museum in ikorodu city of Lagos.
This art museum is located in ikorodu, opposite nasfat, the name of this gallery is: Oshodi Art Gallery
They have so many art works, ranging from clay works to metal works and bead works. Amazing paintings too.
I took some pictures and a little video, but some minutes into the video, the gallery guide told me I couldn't take direct pictures as I have to stand in the picture before taking them.
I couldn't do that as I needed to capture the amazing work of arts and Thier beauty, even as she said whatever, I tried as much as possible to take some pictures and I'd be sharing few of them in this blog post.
PICTURES FROM THE ART GALLERY
I took pictures, but I couldn't get precise angle to snap and I had to snap hurriedly, below are some of them:
The picture above is art made from clay. They are clay pots unsprayed but they are already ready for display.
The pictures above are pots made from clay but are already sprayed. I love those wonderful work of arts as they are creatively done.
Above is a chair made from fabrics, Kampala fabrics to be precised, there are other chairs made in amazing designs but I couldn't take pictures of them.
The picture above is me sitting on one of the crafty made chairs. The designs were wonderful and I couldn't take my eyes off them.
The pictures above were carved from wood, they are ancient gods in many tribes of Nigeria. I fancy them a lot as they reminded me of history.
The painting above is the beautiful city of Lagos, beautiful yet busy, that's what to identify Lagos with Anyday anytime.
I'd be uploading a video I saw on YouTube before I decided to visit the museum
Beautiful and original things.
Thank you
