2026: today by the sea
Today I chose a photo by the sea. The water is clear and calm. Small waves touch the shore again and again. A child sits quietly in the shallow water, wearing pink, facing the open sea. Boats are resting far away, and people are swimming under a wide sky filled with soft clouds.
This photo feels peaceful to me. It reminds me of slow days, when time does not rush. The sea looks gentle, not wild. The waves are small, like they are only saying hello to the shore. I imagine the sound of water, steady and calming.

Watching the child sit alone makes me think about simplicity. Children do not worry about tomorrow or yesterday. They just sit, feel the water, and enjoy the moment. I wish to learn that again. Life often feels heavy, but moments like this remind me to slow down.
The boats in the distance show that life is moving, even when I stay still. Some people travel, some rest, some swim. Everyone is living their own moment. I don’t need to hurry to follow them. It is okay to stay where I am.
The sky is not perfectly blue, but it is beautiful. Clouds come and go, just like thoughts and feelings. I remember that not every day must be bright to be meaningful.
Today, this photo teaches me calm. I don’t need big plans today. Sitting by the sea, breathing, and writing these words is enough. This diary is my quiet moment. Tomorrow, I will choose another photo and write again, one simple day at a time.
