Hola amigos de Hive. Hace algunos días por Instagram desde donde sigo la cuenta del dúo Iris vi una publicación que me emocionó muchísimo, pues el dúo Iris estaría dando un concierto en el teatro La Edad de Oro de aquí de Pinar. Siempre he querido asistir a algún concierto de ellos y esta era una oportunidad que no quería dejar escapar.

A few days ago on Instagram from where I follow the account of the duo Iris I saw a publication that made me very excited, because the duo Iris would be giving a concert at the theater La Edad de Oro here in Pinar. I have always wanted to attend a concert of theirs and this was an opportunity that I did not want to miss.

A pesar de que hubo poca promoción en la ciudad respecto al concierto, incluso llegué a dudar que fuese verdad, pero el dúo en las redes no parada de publicar su llegada a Pinar y lo contentos que estaban de regalarnos un poquito de sus canciones.

Venían como parte de las actividades por el festival La Guarapachanga. En el teatro no se vendieron entradas, ni tickets, solo dieron la información de que a las 9:30 comenzaba la entrada y que debía ser por orden de llegada. Así que acordé con mi novio que iríamos, sinceramente tenía las esperanzas divididas pues podía ser que llegáramos y hubieran muchas personas, que estuviese agotado el espacio, pero bueno hacia allá fuimos, no perdíamos nada con intentar.

They came as part of the activities for the La Guarapachanga festival. At the theater no tickets were sold, they only gave the information that at 9:30 the entrance would start and that it should be on a first come, first served basis. So I agreed with my boyfriend that we would go, sincerely I had divided hopes because it could be that we arrived and there were many people, that the space was sold out, but well we went there, we did not lose anything by trying.

Salimos de casa casi una hora antes y aunque al llegar habían unas cuantas personas mantuve la esperanza de que sí pudiésemos pasar, lo que sí fue posible, tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar la hermosa decoración que tenía el teatro, además hecha por Café Shop Jarachó, los que estaban prestando un servicio gastronómico con refrescos, cafés, algunas bebidas y otras cositas de comer muy acertadas para la noche.

A las 9:40 de la noche cuando todos estábamos concentrados y conversando, se escucharon los primero acordes de una canción, se llenó de aplausos el local y entraron al escenario estos muchachos tan esperados. Desde el inicio la voz de Dayamí la cantante ocupó todo el lugar, una voz tan bonita y melodiosa, totalmente digna de admirar.

Al ser un teatro pequeño, aquel concierto parecía una tertulia entre conocidos, totalmente concentrado todo. Casi una hora de canciones que pasó volando, entre propias de su autoría y otros covers totalmente acertados. Ellos aprovecharon para darle promoción a su más reciente disco nombrado: Mi suerte, el cual se encuentra en el canal de telegram que tiene el dúo.

Being a small theater, that concert seemed like a get-together among acquaintances, totally concentrated. Almost an hour of songs that flew by, between their own songs and other totally successful covers. They took the opportunity to promote their most recent album named: Mi suerte, which can be found on the duo's telegram channel.

Al finalizar las personas comenzaron a subir para el escenario a tomarse fotos con el dúo, nosotros aprovechamos también, ellos saludaban a todos y agradecían de corazón el recibimiento en Pinar. Yo personalmente disfruté muchísimo el concierto y el plan sabatino, ojalá Pinar tuviese más noches dónde la música del dúo Iris fuese protagonista.

At the end of the concert people started to go up to the stage to take pictures with the duo, we took advantage of it too, they greeted everyone and thanked from the bottom of their hearts the welcome in Pinar del Río. I personally enjoyed the concert and the Saturday plan very much, I wish Pinar had more nights where the music of the duo Iris was the protagonist.
