Caricatures of a puppet (English/Spanish)
A friendly greeting dear Hivers, this is my first time in this community and I hope you like the work I have come to share today. I have been working for some years in the cultural area, thanks to that I have become a friend and companion of great artists who are referents in the state. One of those people is my friend Karelys Contreras from the group Marionetas la Carreta.
She asked me to make caricatures of some of her characters, to explain in a lecture some technical issues, such as the sense of the strings in string puppets, the position of the hand in the puppet guiñol, the magic boxes for flat puppets, among others. As she knows that I love to draw and that my favorite style is the toon caricature, we did a great job together.
I share with you some of the drawings I did for her, they were made by hand with pencil and then inked with thin and thick marker, then digitized with a photograph. I hope to continue sharing more of my work here. Greetings to all of you.

Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es mi primera vez en esta comunidad y espero que les guste el trabajo que he venido a compartir el día de hoy. Trabajo desde hace algunos años en el área cultural, gracias a eso me he hecho amiga y compañera de grandes artistas que son referentes en el estado. Una de esas personas es mi amiga Karelys Contreras de la agrupación Marionetas la Carreta.
Ella me pidió que hiciera en caricaturas algunos de sus personajes, para explicar en una ponencia algunas cuestiones técnicas, como por ejemplo, el sentido de las cuerdas en los títeres de hilo, la posición de la mano en el títere guiñol, las cajas mágicas para los títeres planos, entre otros. Como ella sabe que adoro dibujar y que mi estilo favorito es el de la caricatura toon pues hicimos un gran trabajo juntas.
Comparto con ustedes algunos de los dibujos que hice para ella, fueron realizados a mano con lápiz y después entintados con marcador fino y grueso, luego se digitalizaron con una fotografía. Espero seguir compartiendo más de mi trabajo por acá. Un saludo para todos.
