Summer rain + bonus storm

(Edited)

Last year, at the end of July, the rain caught me, no I caught the rain. Same summer high temperatures scenario as this year.

Because it rained, I'll complain less about it for a while. :P

The smell of moist earth, asphalt and that calming sound. You didn't mind jumping in ponds as a kid? Neither did I, that was awesome, you could do as many as silly things you wanted, and you would always use an excuse I'm just a kid.

Then they taught you that wearing wet sneakers is not the best solution, especially if your socks are wet.

And they gave you an umbrella!

The most despised word in the vocabulary, I'm not saying they're useful, but what are we supposed to do when the wind blows and rain pours at the same time? Useless, tiring and burdensome, you never lost your umbrella?

I either lose them (somewhere on purpose) or gave them away.

Last year, I wished to return home drenched to the skin. It wasn't pouring in torrents, but a warm summer rain stirred up all the aromas of burnt plants in the air, it was pleasurable.

Less romance with this rainfall.

The sky changed colors all day long, clouds were changing directions, until someone was pissed off and said it is enough!

The wind then intervened, crushing branches, and leaves and pulling everything into its circle until they all got dizzy and hit the ground.

The droplet bombardment began, I hide behind the door to capture the dispersal.
Failure, pretty much.
The rain is becoming more intense, and the wind appears to be competing, bending and swirling the branches in the air.

Woohoo, this is getting exciting!

Two souls rushed down the street, trying to get as little wet as possible.
I'm still glued to the balcony's glass, waiting to see what happens next.

Everything outside looks so furious.

The van has stopped, and I'm expecting the driver to get out and catch the moment, but the wind is howling, and I can feel the vibration of the glass against my cheek.

Guess me?
or find me below.

From the hotel roof, a flying plastic object landed directly on the parked car, unfortunately, the sound is missing out, and luckily no one is hurt.

Nice little storm you had there. Nice photos as well!

I'm with you on the umbrellas, at best they're annoying and mostly they're just useless.
